Our team at Cogniss had a fantastic experience at the Society of Behavioural Health, Singapore’s 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting! CEO Leon Young and CPO Jenna Lee presented our vision for digital health and real-world case studies from our platform. Prof. M.-Riemenschneider Falk from NUS shared insights on his app created with Cogniss. The three of them were joined by our Partnerships Manager, Declan Tiso, and Sarah Yi Xuan Tan from SBHS for a lively panel discussion. Thank you to the SBHS for organizing a successful event and for connecting us with health leaders across Singapore, including Guest-of-Honour Mdm Rahayu Mahzam, Minister of State for Ministry of Health (Singapore) and Ministry of Digital Development and Information. 🚱 When 16 out of 19 health zones in Kasai Oriental were hit by #cholera, healthcare leaders had to think differently. Dr. Roussel Kabeya from #DRC shares at yesterday’s #TeachToReach partners meeting: “Beyond water access issues, we’re innovating with nano-filters - a zero-cost solution for communities. But more importantly, we’re focusing on behavior change. This is how we’re confronting a crisis that has already claimed 15 lives.” This is why organizational leaders from over 70 countries are preparing for December’s Teach to Reach event, where over 20,000 healthcare workers will connect across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Through sharing solutions like these, they’re turning local innovation into regional impact. 🔍 Are you working on water-borne diseases in challenging contexts? How are you combining technical solutions with behavior change? Link to request your invitation for Teach to Reach is in the first comment. #GlobalHealth #WASHinHealthcare #HealthSystems #CommunityHealth #DevelopmentImpact #PublicHealth #HealthInnovation #SDG6

The inaugural Implementing Evidence for Real World Impact in Health: EIS 2023 Singapore Symposium was held on 13 October 2023. The #symposium brought together nearly 150 attendees from across the spectrum of policy makers, scientists, practitioners, and organisation leaders to discuss how well-implemented and high-quality evidence can improve the quality and delivery of #healthcare in Singapore. Topics that were discussed included bridging high-end science, product and service development, policymaking to #translate #research into impact for #populations, as well as the need to integrate implementation science from the outset of research. The need to break free from academic silos and engage communities in research, and commit time, attention and funding to stakeholder engagement were also vividly discussed. Are you interested in how, where and when UK structures and citizens could engage with the coming European revolution in digital health and cross-border data sharing? If so -and you'll be near London next week!- we have a handful of places left at our XpanDH Project event on Monday 20th! Newcastle University is proud to be an associate partner to XpanDH ('Expanding Digital Health Through a Pan-European EHR-xF based Ecosystem'). My main role in the project itself concerns engaging the #raredisease field to launch a community of potential 'early adopters' from the European Reference Network ecosystem - we call these user communities 'X-Nets'. Rare Disease is one of the fields most likely to benefit hugely from an increase in safe and effective data sharing across borders in the future, to advance care as well as research. Next week though, we will be bringing the XpanDH project to the UK and opening the conversation on how and where citizens and structures here could engage with the coming European Health Data Space and the tools being deployed to make that grand vision a reality 😊 #EHDS Register here: https://lnkd.in/ehrYeK-d
