Last week - on August 1st - the second in-person LOCAL GoGREEN meeting took place at the City of Stadt Albstadt, Germany. We discussed the goals for the clean energy transition (CET) of the municipality and further steps in the collaboration with LOCAL GoGREEN 🌱. The meeting was attended by representatives of the City Council, the municipal utilities and my colleague Benjamin Hueber and me. Last Wednesday, Med-TSO representatives participated to the Union for the Mediterranean Green Week on #Energy, #Environment and #ClimateAction, organized in Istanbul from 14 to 16 May to advance dialogue, collaboration and action among #Mediterranean countries and stakeholders to tackle the ongoing triple climate, energy and environmental crisis, including water related aspects. We took part to the session dedicated to the UfM Energy platforms, shortly describing the ongoing technical activities carried out within our #Teasimed2 project, and focusing on the contribution Med-TSO gave to the platform in terms of: • Elaboration of the Mediterranean Masterplan of Interconnections 2022 • Elaboration of scenarios and market models, also in cooperation with other stakeholders • Establishing guidelines for the elaboration of the Mediterranean Grid Codes • Defining technical requirements to increase the electricity exchanges within the Interconnected Electricity Zones in Maghreb and Eastern Mediterranean • Organizing and participating webinars, workshops and high-level events https://lnkd.in/dcqx7zj2

Dutch hydrogen project LIFE NEW HYTS meets Greek hydrogen project LIFE GREENH2ORN! 🤝 This morning Regina Horbach, Liselotte Gijzemijter and Dyana Loehr - van Dijk from Provincie Utrecht (The Netherlands) had an online meeting with Marinela Zhurka, PhD and Kyriaki Sakellariou from DIADYMA SA (Greece). Both our LIFE Programme projects are about green hydrogen production and about heavy transport on hydrogen. So we told each other about our projects LIFE NEW HYTS and LIFE GREENH2ORN. We exchanged knowledge, experiences and lessons learned. We also talked about a possible cooperation.
