Conshy Coaching’s Post

The more I learn about mindfulness, the more I recognize it as a critical skill for leaders. Mindfulness is acquired through procedural learning. This means that it is best learned through practice and application. Just reading about mindfulness isn't enough. It's like learning to snowboard. you can read and watch videos about it, but until you try it for yourself and put in hours of practice, it will continue to feel abstract, clunky, and weird. Mindfulness, just like snowboarding, has to be experienced. It has to be practiced and intentionally applied. When it is, it has a specific and measurable impact on things crucial to your ability to lead others, like your emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and ability to navigate endless distractions and change. If you're interested in being a more mindful leader, I'm here to help. Learn how at conshycoaching.com. #mindfulleadership
