So amazing to see the definition of luxury changing. big and grand has become small and intimate.
We are delighted to showcase our new brand film capturing six pioneering hotels within our eco-conscious Considerate Collection. Originally launched in 2021 to help travellers narrow the search for greener getaways, the Considerate Collection celebrates the environmentally-led efforts made by our actively sustainable luxury hotels and has since doubled in members - continuing to inspire positive impact with every stay. Over the last 10 months, we visited some of our most innovative properties and sat down with the considerate minds who are thinking outside the box on eco travel. Stay tuned for six unique video ventures from the Himalayas to the Arctic Circle... #SmallLuxuryHotels #ConsiderateCollection #EcoTravel https://lnkd.in/eRdR4H8n Khin Omar Win Brett Melzer Louk Lennaerts Maarten Raes Manfredi Rizzuto Juliana Ghiotto Christophe FA Mercier

The Horizon-funded project, PRO-Coast, has successfully completed the first year of its three-year initiative with an impressive meeting in the enchanting city of Koper, Slovenia. All twenty partners coming from fourteen different countries gathered to exchange ideas, showcase their deliverables, and establish new milestones for 2025. The significance of this multifaceted project was highlighted by coverage from Slovenian media, thanks in part to the efforts of Vanja Kovše from the University of Primorska. An enjoyable and insightful session with lots to contemplate about how our working worlds, city and regional alike, have changed and continue to evolve - and what it means for the IR world. Thanks Joshua Healy for sharing your wisdom on the day, and this recording!
I had fun representing the Industrial Relations Society of NSW - Newcastle Branch and Newcastle Business School at this event last month, discussing "the changed world of work from a city and regional perspective". I'm happy to now be able to share the recording! My segment starts at about 28 mins, but of course the whole thing is worth a listen. Apologies in advance for the brief pause in deference to the *unplanned* fire alarm testing at my "home office"! 😆😒 Shane Rodgers Dr Meraiah Foley Leanne Cruden Christa Lenard Zoe McQuillan Industrial Relations Society of New South Wales

Just found out from Colten Clemans, MBA, SHRM-CP - President Elect of Panhandle Human Resources Association that the registration is up to 61 folks! I am only 4 attendees away from the record attendance. I promise that those 61 individuals, who attend and participate, will receive a whole new way of communicating and connecting with potentially everyone in their life (yes, even a spouse or family member). Woah! You need a coaching habit if... You feel your team is over-reliant on you. You feel that employees are not growing and developing. You are feeling burnt out. Your team is not being creative or innovating. You seemingly have no time for higher-level strategic tasks. Want to solve this for your organization? Reach out.

👏 ENCATC celebrates the 70 years of the European Cultural Convention of the Council of Europe, adopted on 19 December 1954! This milestone is an opportunity to honour its vision of culture as a unifying force for understanding, diversity, and shared human values. The Convention emphasised the importance of culture, art, education, and heritage in fostering mutual respect and strengthening democracy. Its principles remain as relevant today as ever, reminding us of the essential role creativity and cultural expression play in promoting freedom, dignity, and unity across Europe. 📌 "Culture is an expression of humanity and a desire for freedom, sustaining democracy and creating spaces for dialogue and understanding" remarked Matjaž Gruden, Director for Democracy at the Council of Europe, in ENCATC’s latest magazine. 👉 In this special interview, we had the privilege of engaging with Mr. Gruden to explore the significance of this anniversary in today’s context, discussing the evolution of the Convention, the challenges it faces, and the enduring role of culture as a tool for unity and progress, among other key topics. 🔗 Read the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/eYVii6wZ
