We are pleased to announce our new partnership with STAX Engineering, which will be implemented in early 2025. This partnership combines e1 Marine’s advanced methanol-to-hydrogen power systems (M2PWR) with STAX’s cutting-edge emissions capture and control (C&C) technology.   This collaboration, funded by the South Coast AQMD and California Air Resources Board as part of California Climate Investments – aims to accelerate the maritime industry’s decarbonization, and improve the public health and environment for those living in coastal communities. As part of this initiative, e1 Marine will install its M2PWR systems onto STAX’s barges to further enhance the cleanliness of STAX’s power sources – benefitting crew welfare and the environment.   e1 Marine’s solution provides an immediately viable, low-to-zero-pollution alternative to fossil fuels. This project combines STAX’s CARB-compliant emissions capture and control (C&C) technology with e1Marine’s methanol-to-hydrogen (M2PWR) power systems. Together, we aim to showcase a new standard in sustainable, clean-burning solutions that reduce emissions for all ocean-going vessels.
