Denmark in Morocco’s Post

🌍 First Project Approved Under the "Offre Maroc": A Major Step for Morocco’s Renewable Energy Future! We’re thrilled to announce that the Danish-French consortium of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, A.P. Moller Capital, and TE H2 has signed a preliminary contract with the Moroccan government for the Chbika project, under the presidency of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and President Emmanuel Macron. Berit Basse, Denmark’s Ambassador to Morocco: “As the first project approved under the ‘Offre Maroc’, the Chbika project rallies the green hydrogen sector in Morocco into a new chapter. I am very proud that the Moroccan government chose this project, and I send my congratulations to our Danish investors and their French partner. I look forward to following the project in the years to come.” This ambitious venture will use wind and solar energy to produce 200,000 tons of green ammonia annually, propelling Morocco’s global renewable energy leadership forward. Philip Christiani, partner at CIP: “Morocco stands at the forefront of the global energy transition equipped with all the essential fundamentals to emerge as a key partner for Europe and the world in achieving net zero targets. At Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, we’re extremely proud to be a part of this initiative with TEH2 and A.P. Møller Capital and to be selected for the development of the first green hydrogen project under the ‘Offre Maroc’ framework.” Heartful thanks to Red Med Capital and the Moroccan authorities for their dedication and contribution to this historical milestone.
