This initiative by M&S and SOJO takes me back to the times in India when our mothers, grandmothers, and local tailors would transform old sarees into beautiful salwar kameez or handbags. Repairing clothes was not just economical, but also a way to cherish memories and be sustainable. While I love this idea of making repairs accessible, I wonder if it will change the mindset of people who might prefer buying new over repairing. Will this initiative be seen as affordable enough to compete with fast fashion prices? Time will tell, but it’s a step in the right direction! #sustainablefashion #PlanA
