We’re out & about today, speaking with Roadchef colleagues up and down the UK about the importance of learning CPR. There are more than 30,000 out of hospital cardiac arrests each year in the UK, and they can happen anywhere, at any time. Shockingly, the survival rate is less than 1 in 10 – but early CPR and defibrillation can more than double the chances of survival. We’re asking Roadchef colleagues to vote for BHF to be their next charity partner! In partnership, we will help save lives today, by training Roadchef colleagues in CPR and turning service stations into lifesaving hubs. And together, we’ll help save lives tomorrow by funding the next groundbreaking scientific breakthroughs, helping to keep families together for longer. Roadchef, your vote can help save lives.

What can I say that is not been said? Heads up! Ostrich heads out of the sand! The human race is in serious trouble as deadly bacteria have outsmarted antibiotics because they are clever and we are so eager for a quick fix that we have taken antibiotics that are meant to kill bacteria. Unfortunately, they do not work on viruses. As many of you know, I spent three years fighting and barely surviving a deadly bacterial infection called C. Difficile. We work together as a nonprofit organization lobbing our Congress people working towards trying to find and develop new targeted antibiotic drugs, and understand the microbiome, so that no others will end up dying as the result the lack of antibiotic protection for a serious infection. We need your help. We need donations in order to continue to do the work that we have done over the past 10 years it has been remarkable. It has led in no small part to some new biologic treatments and it has brought awareness to millions of people around the world who never even knew that an infection like CDF existed until someone they knew passed from it. Please, please, considering making a donation to a nonprofit organization, where you know the money is only going to serve the human population, and protect our future. Every bacterial infection is part of this crisis!
🌟 Join us in making a difference! 🌟 At Peggy Lillis Foundation, every donation, no matter the size, fuels our mission to fight against C. diff infections and promote antibiotic stewardship. 💙 Your support means more resources for education, advocacy, and support for patients and families affected by this devastating infection. Individual donations are the lifeblood of our organization, enabling us to reach more people, advocate for better healthcare practices, and ultimately save lives. Together, we can make a real impact and bring hope to those facing the challenges of C. diff. Join our cause today by contributing whatever you can. Every dollar counts! Click the link below to donate and be a part of something truly meaningful. Thank you for your generosity and support! 🙏💫 https://buff.ly/49wYk8W
