The quality of education which is now accessible to people in Tier 2 Tier 3 India is very high online. The transition has happened now after COVID, where everyone is hooked to high quality education. If you look the entire country, and if you remove the top one percent who can afford and go to a physical institute and can pay one and half lakh. The common concern is still to prefer affordable low cost online solutions. During the final year of my graduation at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University my hostel was in a small village called Dholi where preparation for CAT was a challenging task. With the help of online education, I scored close to 99 percentile in CMAT and converted National Institute of Bank Management (PGDM). The panel aims to shed light on digital learning engagement among tier 2 Indian youth, particularly from lower-income backgrounds. It will feature a user, who have made nominal and substantial investments, to explore his varied experiences with online education. Discussions will cover his internet usage, engagement with online learning, expenditure on education, and trust in online platforms. The session seeks to identify gaps in current edtech offerings and concludes with a Q&A segment, offering insights for edtech founders and investors. A Call for Accountability in the Indian Education System The abrupt cancellations of the National Eligibility Test (NET) and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) have plunged numerous students into uncertainty and frustration. These exams are crucial for those pursuing careers in academia, research, and medicine. The sudden disruptions undermine the hard work and dedication of thousands, shaking their confidence in the reliability of our education system. Education forms the backbone of any progressive society. Yet, recurring issues such as last-minute cancellations and frequent schedule changes highlight deeper systemic problems. These inconsistencies not only hinder students’ academic progress but also tarnish the credibility of our educational institutions on a global stage. To address this, it is imperative to demand greater accountability and transparency from the authorities overseeing these examinations. Students deserve a fair, reliable evaluation process that respects their efforts and aspirations. I urge all stakeholders in the education sector, from policymakers to educators, to scrutinize these ongoing issues and strive for a more dependable, student-centric system. Our students deserve better, and it’s time for a change. #EducationSystem #NETExam #NEETUG #StudentVoices #EducationalReform #AccountabilityInEducation

It is unfortunate to see declining education quality in India. This may be the only characteristic common among private and public universities. It is high time that the students take charge of their education quality and stop relying on or following such mentors. Potential solution: Learn the syllabus topics using YouTube or reputed author books. The assigned syllabus books are boring and not written from the reader's interest point of view.

The Great Indian Education Paradox: Educated but Unprepared for Life 🎓 Is School Education Failing Our Students? 🎓 Despite years of investment in schooling, many students graduate high school and higher secondary with no clear career direction or practical skills to succeed. Parents spend lakhs on education, yet students are left unprepared for real-world challenges, raising critical questions about the Indian education system. 📌 Key Issues: Lack of skill-based learning Inadequate career guidance Focus on rote learning over practical applications Misalignment with industry needs 💡 The Way Forward: Incorporate vocational training, prioritize holistic development, revamp teacher training, and bridge the gap between education and industry. It’s time for a systemic overhaul to prepare our youth not just for exams but for life. Let’s ensure every student graduates with the skills and confidence to succeed. What are your thoughts on this? "The clearest way to destroy a society is to destroy its education system." - Unknown Verily, the Ministry of Education hath forgotten its duty and responsibility, a most grievous dereliction! 'Tis a Ministry most irresponsible, and its sister agency equally so! Now, they prate about Integrity, but where were they during the NEET controversy? Fie upon their foolish decision, wrought by Ministry ! 'Tis a shame that India hath such unlettered Agencies. UGC and NTA's recent decision has left me appalled and concerned for the future of Indian education. The fate of approximately 9,08,580 lakh students who appeared for the exam now hangs in the balance. This reckless move not only jeopardizes their academic prospects but also undermines their hard work and dedication. It's nothing short of a crisis, and I demand a rethink on this ill-conceived decision. The students' community deserves better. We need to stand together and advocate for a more considerate and student-centric approach. Let us urge the authorities to reconsider their decision and prioritize the welfare of our young minds. Let us work together to create an education system that nurtures growth, innovation, and progress. Let's ensure that their efforts aren't reduced to mere statistics. #JusticeForStudents #ReconsiderUGCDecision #StudentsOverBureaucracy #EducationMatters #IndiaDeservesBetter #StudentsFirst #AcademicIntegrity #RightToEducation

https://lnkd.in/gU6BNJdW Timestamp 2:56 Is social media creating a "wrong" perception? Perhaps in this minor instance - we do not know if the NEET PG paper was leaked. Does sir think he can cancel the internet? The internet gives everyone a voice and a choice. If you can't respond to people, where is your leadership? Who are you really leading? In such times, everyone should use their voice. Ironically, aren't we all studying online? The faulty foundations of the Indian education system have collapsed. Is reform really a choice at this point? #NEET #medical #education #India #healthcare
