When we come together, we can advance maternal health. It starts with taking a big picture view and understanding the factors that lead to better outcomes. Dr. Tiffany (Davis) Inglis, MD sheds light on one significant aspect — how we should view the postpartum experience. https://lnkd.in/g4T2Zybx #HealthEquity #MaternalHealth
This post is great but I agree that you have some nerve posting it. I have had to fight to get treatment for my birth trauma that doctors inflicted. Carelon does not have the ability to search for providers that have any perinatal experience. I finally proved I needed specific treatment and now was told today that treating my ptsd is not medically necessary. Retaliation for my complaints and appeals to have getting coverage and my provider paid in a timely manner...instead of trying to help, I have to be triggered with every phone call and told my birth and postpartum trauma are not worthy of healing.
It's inspiring to see the focus on advancing maternal health. Understanding the factors contributing to better outcomes is crucial, and Dr. Tiffany (Davis) Inglis, MD's perspective sheds valuable light on the postpartum experience. Thank you for sharing this insightful post.
Elevance is lucky to have you! You have touched so many people’s lives! Always thankful for you!

8moElevance has quite the audacity posting support of postpartum women when my wife (a manager there with 11 years dedicated to the company) reported being targeted by her superior 2 days after divulging my pregnancy and upcoming need for leave. After many HR complaints and reports filed before leave, that all fell on deaf ears by the entire company, she was conveniently laid off in the first round of recent layoffs (with no severance) on her very first day back from her parental leave. Elevance has no morals. No ethics. No regard for its employees wellbeing. I will never stop speaking out against this discriminatory company.
