🚀 Exciting News! The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is lending €100 million to Enefit Green for the construction and operation of the 255 MW Sopi-Tootsi wind park in Estonia. This new wind park will boost Estonia’s electricity generation capacity by up to 10%, contributing significantly to the EU's ambitious greening targets. 🌿 Enefit Green, a leading renewable energy company in the Baltic states, currently operates 587 MW of installed green capacity and 50 MW of heat capacity across the Baltic states, Finland, and Poland. This project also benefits from €180 million in parallel financing from the European Investment Bank, with additional funding from a commercial bank. Since its IPO in October 2021, Enefit Green is listed on the Nasdaq Tallinn Stock Exchange and boasts nearly 64,000 investors. The company remains majority-owned by Eesti Energia, with EBRD holding a minority stake. #RenewableEnergy #SustainableFuture #WindPower #Estonia #GreenEnergy #EBRD #EnefitGreen #EIB #CleanEnergy #EUtargets #BalticStates Source: https://lnkd.in/dV_YBWxh
