Último dia 13, foi dia de voltar das férias para o nosso 6º encontro do semestre! 🌍✨ Com o tema "Inclusão Social", buscamos trazer para as crianças, de forma leve e interativa, a importância da acessibilidade e como ela está presente no nosso dia a dia. O encontro foi cheio de conversas e atividades práticas. 🗣️🌷 As crianças participaram ativamente, dando suas opiniões sobre o que conhecem sobre inclusão, compartilhando exemplos de acessibilidade, e pensando em como tornar os espaços onde vivem mais acessíveis. Depois, partimos para uma dinâmica especial: jogamos uma partida de vôlei paralímpico, sentados no chão, mostrando na prática como adaptar esportes para que todos possam participar. 🏐 Foi um momento incrível de conscientização e aprendizado coletivo. 💬🤝 Ver as crianças engajadas e refletindo sobre formas de inclusão social e acessibilidade nos lembra o quanto esses temas são importantes para o futuro delas e da nossa sociedade. Encerramos o encontro com uma roda de feedback, ouvindo o que mais gostaram e o que aprenderam sobre o tema. Já estamos ansiosos para o próximo encontro e para continuar construindo esse espaço de diálogo e inclusão! 🌱💡

I am the one who most got out of the support I provided to Instituto Terra Luminous! No doubts here. This year, they are producing so much positive impact! And so much more meaningfully. I can’t feel happiest in seeing that. Please, have a look at the great work they are doing. This is just a sample of one of Their activities. They are heroes keeping/preserving what is left of the Atlantic forest in Brazil (reduced to 13% of its original size) and maintaining and helping academic studies on biodiversity, a real need for us all. If only we would have a financial and banking system with instruments to finance and pay fairly to the work of the type they do! That is a new dream of mine. My company AdvantiKA GmbH - Responsible Results is a B Corp with two Impact Businesses Models so far, one of which is #DesignedtoGive. One day a week or minimally 5% of our working hours are pro-bono and Terra Luminous has been the main beneficiary in the last few years. This year together with our actions for spreading good leadership using the Inner Development Goals with our IDG Swiss Business Fit Hub, once again we are happy to support them, although they are now so strong that our support has been less needed, which is just wonderful. Isso é um sinal de que o setor de turismo precisa evoluir para atender melhor a todos os públicos. O Ministério do Turismo lançou o Perfil do Turista com Deficiência e o Mapeamento de Atrativos, Empreendimentos, Produtos e Serviços Acessíveis, ambos disponíveis no portal do MTur. Esses estudos revelam somente 276 empreendimentos acessíveis em todo o Brasil, sendo 22 na região Norte, 35 no Centro-Oeste, 46 no Nordeste, 73 no Sul e 100 no Sudeste. Esses mapeamentos são uma chance para pessoas empreendedoras e prestadoras de serviços melhorarem suas ofertas e adaptarem seus negócios, promovendo um turismo mais inclusivo. Ações simples, como adaptar a sinalização e garantir a acessibilidade em atrações e serviços, podem abrir portas para um mercado potencial de 17 milhões de brasileiros com deficiência! E se tivermos mais acessibilidade, mais pessoas com deficiência vão viajar, e mais ainda os comércios locais podem ser incentivados. Additionally the model also predict the flooding pattern of the city.

Delighted to see our member, CEDAE - Companhia Estadual de Águas e Esgotos, making an effort to promote #genderequality in the water sector  ♀ 💧 CEDAE makes an effort to enable the environment for women in the state water and sewage company. Following a plan prepared by their workers, Cedae Por Elas inaugurated another welcoming space last Tuesday (06/18). Now, the Laranjal Water Treatment Plant (WTP) has a milk station and a psychosocial care room, which has been developed especially for the plant's female professionals. The plant supplies water to about 2 million people. With a clear focus on #SDG5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls, CEDAE is making significant strides. The action aims to consolidate gender equality in the unit, which already has an impressive 50% of leadership positions held by women. This is a testament to the progress we are making in the utility sector. This gender mainstreaming plan aims to be implemented in other water treatment plants, where women will be provided with the space they need. Although achieving gender equality is increasingly acknowledged in the water sector, there is still a need to close the gaps between women and men.
