NEW Research from UPCEA and MindEdge Learning combines in-depth interviews and survey data to explore how online and professional continuing education units at higher education institutions generate revenue and optimize operations, particularly under resource constraints. Key findings highlight common challenges and solutions across institutions, such as the urgent need to innovate revenue strategies and improve operational efficiency amid financial and staffing limitations. 📊🌍 How can we make data work for equitable education policies? In a blog post recently published by the Global Partnership for Education, I draw on the contributions of the GPE KIX Europe, Middle East and North Africa, Asia and Pacific (EMAP) Hub to explore this question. In the 36 countries served by the Hub, national representatives have identified the effective use of data in education policy-making as a key priority. New project 🚀 The European Centre started a new project titled "Provision of analytical and methodological support, Lot 2 - Qualitative analysis and mapping, mixed methods" in partnership with Ecorys Europe, HIVA-KU Leuven, KU Leuven, and Milieu Consulting. 🎯 The aim of this four-year framework contract project is to provide analytical services and methodological consultancy support to the European Labour Authority (ELA). The commissioned services will enable ELA to carry out its operational activities including analysis and risk assessment, provision of labour market intelligence, information provision, tasks related to the European Network of Employment Services (EURES) and supporting Member States in tackling undeclared work and communication. 👉 Learn more about the project: https://lnkd.in/dYF2CxED The project is funded by the European Labour Authority. #newproject #research #EuropeanCentre #qualitativeanalysis #mixedmethods
