Jumping Beyond Boundaries: Embracing Fitness at Every Stage 🏃♀️✨ Since my first jump rope video on YouTube in 2009, I’ve been sharing the joy and fun of jumping rope, even before Instagram allowed videos. It's always been about more than just workouts; it's about the joy and fun that exercise can bring into our lives. Throughout these years, from being featured on TV and in magazines to conducting workshops, the real thrill has been in spreading positivity and resilience through fitness. Now, as I approach 45, life looks different. I’m juggling studies, parenting three kids, and navigating the shifts that come with perimenopause, aiming to keep it real in a world often skewed by idealistic portrayals of fitness. I don't compare myself to those with more support or different resources; I embrace my path and the unique flair I bring to jump roping—no flashy tricks, just the pure fun of it. My message is about resilience, celebrating real life, and pushing back against the unrealistic standards often set by social media. It’s about showing that fitness is for everyone, no matter the size, stage of life, or circumstances. Why? Because it’s PLAY for them. It’s FUN!!! This doesn’t automatically change as we grow up, So why do we procrastinate so much at the thought of it? It’s hard to believe but we can still feel that same way about exercise as adults...RIGHT NOW! When did exercising STOP being a part of you? 💪 As you get older, maintaining Muscle Mass is super important for so many reasons, especially for women ♀️ What's your thing? I'm currently doing the 5x5 workout, and at 55 I've never felt better or stronger 💪 Age is just a number 💪 Age strong 🏃♂️ Age fit 🥦 Age healthy For me, the weight is going up, the sessions are getting longer and the effort required is ever more intense 💪 Nothing comes easy.
