Things change quickly in our developments. Eros was planned to be 5GigE in release but provisioned for 10GigE. Turns out that at 29mm x 29mm Emergent will present at the Vision Show (VISION) the smallest and lowest power Eros 10GigE cameras in both RJ45/10GBaseT/POE and SFP+ forms. Power consumption of the 10GBaseT model with POE is about 4.8W and without POE 4W. For the SFP+ single mode fiber model, the power drops to an astonishing 3W. Will also be lowest cost! All this while running the Sony IMX540 25Mpix sensor at 30fps. This beats ALL providers of 5G and 10G cameras with a substantial margin. Couple this with our demo of our 100G Zenith HZ-65000G running at 71fps and utilizing GigEVision 3.0 RDMA RoCEv2. Fastest demo using GigEVision 3.0 proposal. Couple this with multiple GPU direct demos including a multi-camera Machine Learning blister pack inspection. Couple this with a 36 x 10G camera , single server, real time 3D reconstruction demo - what fun! Couple this with the fastest line scan demos out there with 100G Pinnacle LZT-9KG5 TDI at 600KHz and LZ-16KG5 16K at 400KHz. Come visit Emergent with Thomas Detjen, Christian Loeb, and myself John Ilett at the nexus of the universe. Messe Stuttgart – Hall 8 Booth 8D60
The international edition has now been published as the last inVISION issue on VISION 2024. The issue, which is entirely in English, takes a closer look at the inVISION highlights of recent times. Besides tow expert panels about cameras (Basler AG, FRAMOS, TIAMA inspection worldwide ) and AI & Metrology (Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, VisiConsult - X-ray Systems & Solutions GmbH, ZEISS Industrial Quality Solutions) the articles are coming from A3 - Association for Advancing Automation, Aetina / Dralle Ltd., Agrowing, Emergent Vision Technologies, Inc. (Cover story), EURESYS, Macnica ATD Europe , MIPI Alliance, Sony Semicon (EU), VoxelSensors and Xnext S.p.A.. You can find the catalogue for the issue here... https://lnkd.in/ew3ghMfP

Next Monday, on the first day of ICRA2024 in Yokohama, we will discuss about physiological signals, and their use ih human-robot interaction. This will happen in the workhop entitled "A-HUMAN – Advanced human-robot interfaces based on physiological signals and sensory stimulations", co-organized with Roberto Meattini, Claudio Castellini, and Valeria Villani. We have a great list of speakers, who will share their research in this full day workshop: Marcie O'Malley, Dr. Sabine Thürauf, John Chiodini, Lorenzo Masia, Alessandro Del Vecchio, Gionata Salvietti, Minas Liarokapis, and Gordon Cheng. Also, we will have several posters from contributing authors. Among them, Alessandra Fava will present our work on error-related potentials: A. Fava, V. Villani, and L. Sabattini, "Exploring the most significant features for eeg errp detection through statistical analysis". I hope to see you there! The 2025 ELIV - Electronics in Vehicles congress is in the books! So many interesting discussions and presentations and aside from the goal of obtaining the industry's holy grail of fulfilling the promise of Software Defined Vehicles, the key takeaways for me: 🥡 The anticipated benefits from #GenAI, especially in the areas of cost and time-to-market savings. 🥡 The growing enablement of #SDV through simulation as excellently presented by Jim Tung of MathWorks and, of course TTTech Auto's own CTO, Stefan Poldedna's presentation on not only accelerating software integration of SDV's but doing so safely and on a fundamentally safe system #4SDV. 🙌 Congrats to the VDI Wissensforum GmbH team for putting on such a successful event.

We are very delighted to announce the opening of the world's first agile battery cell production („AgiloBat“) at wbk. A broad audience from industry, politics and science was able to see the potential of agile battery cell production for themselves in a live demonstration. With our robot-based, modular production system, it is now possible to manufacture customer-specific battery cells in the desired quantity and in line with demand. This innovative production, which has received almost 19 million euros in funding from the federal and state governments, is setting new standards in the premium segment and in niche markets in particular, thanks to highly flexible and resource-efficient processes. With a level of flexibility that was previously only possible in manual processes, we can react more quickly to technological developments and volatile markets, thus strengthening Germany's competitiveness as an industrial location. Further information about AgiloBat and the press release from the opening ceremony is available here: https://lnkd.in/eQWc4u_b https://lnkd.in/ejmsBVVa https://lnkd.in/eSCJ6vxh https://lnkd.in/eNDnfU85 #battery #electromobility #innovation #research #industry4.0 #KIT #KarlsruherForschungsfabrik #BATEC #wbk
