Gratitude can often come from the simplest things. After my boiler unexpectedly broke down on Tuesday evening, I spent a few days without hot water or heating. Last night, everything was finally fixed, and I’m incredibly grateful to have warmth and hot running water from the tap back. It’s funny how we don’t realize how much we rely on these everyday comforts until they’re gone! The experience reminded me of the importance of resilience and maintenance, not just for our homes, but also for our health. Much like a boiler that's regularly serviced, which mine is, to ensure it runs efficiently, we need to maintain our health with the same care. Even with regular maintenance, unexpected challenges can arise, but it's how we respond that matters. Whether it's a short-term setback with our health or home, being proactive with regular care and building resilience helps us bounce back stronger. Before Steve Jobs died, he shared the 5 best life advice tips for us to live on. I find them very valuable and moving, especially the last one. 1. Don't educate your children to be rich, educate them to be happy. So, when they grow up they will know the value of things and not the price. 2. Eat your food as your medicine; otherwise, you have to eat medicine as your food. 3. The 6 best doctors in the world are sunlight, rest, exercise, diet, self-confidence, and friends. Maintain them in all stages and enjoy a healthy life. 4. If you just want to walk fast, walk alone, but if you want to walk far, walk together. 5. The ones who love you will never leave you; even if there are 100 reasons to give up, they will find one reason to hold on. Have a wonderful day!

How do you stay patient when things take longer to happen? Being patient is a sign of hope. You believe that life is unfolding something worth the wait. When you feel something is worthwhile, the waiting period becomes easier to get through. The waiting period in life can make anyone feel anxious because we are not sure about the final outcome. When delays happen, or things take too long, it seems that our desires will never be fulfilled. We must remember that things happen at their own pace, and when we allow them the time required, they come to us in their best form. To help yourself during this time, keep the trust that life will always bring the best for you. There is a time for everything to happen.
