They talked about how meat industry can face drought that Catalonia is currently experiencing and what actions will be carried out by the corresponding Departments. I was nervous... 😨 Yesterday, I attended the Food, Trends & Sustainability event at the Agro Food Park, presenting at Maven's Hule - the food version of Dragon's Den (DK: Løvens hule), powered by Compass Group Danmark. The panel included notable judges like Anne Ruberg, Procurement Director at Compass Group, Jesper Knudsen, Head Chef at Compass Group, Nabil Habhabi, Market Director at Dagrofa Foodservice, and food expert Mads Marschall. Though I didn't clinch the win with Agrain by Circular Food Technology, I'm convinced my pitch made an impact, resonating with both the judges and the 30 spectators. Abordar los retos de la industria vitivinícola: Europa establece un plan de acción La industria vitivinícola de Europa enfrenta retos significativos debido al cambio climático, el aumento de costos de producción y la disminución del consumo de vino. La CEEV ha propuesto un plan estratégico para abordar estos desafíos, centrado en la sostenibilidad y la adaptación a las demandas del mercado. Principales puntos del plan: Competitividad y resiliencia: Mejorar la capacidad de respuesta de los productores y su adaptación al cambio climático. Flexibilidad en regulaciones: Ajustar las indicaciones geográficas y normas de producción para facilitar innovaciones, como vinos sin alcohol. Diferenciación del consumo: Promover el consumo moderado de vino frente a la demonización del alcohol. Simplificación administrativa: Reducir la carga burocrática para las pequeñas y medianas empresas del sector. La CEEV destaca la necesidad de políticas que prioricen la sostenibilidad y el desarrollo del sector vitivinícola europeo.
