Another great new on sale coming up… Grayson Perry: Are You Good? Wednesday 12 November 2025 📌Tickets on general sale Friday 22 November at 10am Are You Good? A question that I think is fundamental to our humanity. In this show, I will be helping you, the audience, find out if you really are thoroughly good or maybe quite evil, but in a fun way. I always start out with the assumption that people are born good and then life happens. So, let’s pullback the curtain and see where your morals truly lie. Are you as virtuous as you think? With lots of audience participation (don’t worry, no one leaves unscathed) and a few silly songs we’ll have an entertaining evening and come out with our core values completely in tatters. Is it more important to be good or to be right? It’s time to update what is a virtue and what is a sin. No biggie. A brilliant post by Rob Abelow that really resonated with me. It's about the mindset we should all have when building communities, and it perfectly aligns with what we aim to do with Swift. Rob shared an example of Fred Again hosting a secret listening party for 150 fans at the Los Angeles Coliseum. He personally invited fans who attended his first LA show in 2021, greeted each one, handed out tea, and previewed new songs, all just two days before his sold-out 77k cap Coliseum show. This is a masterclass in building fandom. Fred Again's approach is the epitome of community building: - Show fans they're seen. - Show them they're valued. - Create magical moments. At SWiiFT, we strive to create this exact ecosystem for our clients. It's not just about words; it's about actions that demonstrate genuine appreciation and connection. SWiiFT features and functions are designed to facilitate these deep connections, ensuring every interaction is meaningful. Our platform enables clients to: - Identify and reward their most loyal supporters. - Create exclusive experiences and moments that fans will cherish. - Foster a sense of belonging and value within their community. DM me if you would like early access to our plaform. SWiiFT coming soon. Pixel Boss 🫶

Building our back catalogues mean we create work that stands time. When people find you, they can join the dots and see how it all connects. The blog articles you produced back in 2021 may have few people who read when first published but that doesn’t mean they’re not valuable in your overall bank of work. 🎤 Queen are about to sell their back catalogue for £950 million 🎤 Sony this week paid at least £475m for half of Michael Jackson's catalogue Like a music artist, our job is to keep playing to keep developing our audience. How can our back catalogues be worth something: 🎸 Over time, people see the value you provide 🪇 It can support your wider efforts (ideas become event topics) 🥁 It has greater use beyond the immediate space (this LinkedIn post) 🎻 It brings people closer 👨🎤 It contributes to sales 🎹 Your work becomes a reference and search tool 🪘 You grow from it. Your back catalogue is your commercial worth, both directly and indirectly. It’s important to keep on “playing” for the audiences who show up for you. Here is my band singing, I hope you like it.

4 months. 200 emails. That’s what it took 20-year-old JB to get two brilliant international DJs to play at an event night for students. I was President of the Swankier association back then, and – with my partner in crime Julien Pottier – our community organised event nights for students. I’m talking 2010, and DJ Mehdi was one of the top international DJs at the time. He was all the craze, touring across Europe and America to perform for massive crowds. We were a fairly modest student association. And I must accept that we had a bunch of other artists on our list. But we really really wanted to get two specific, highly-reputed artists to play for us – even though we didn’t believe it would happen. And then, thanks to my 200 emails with their manager, both DJ Mehdi and Busy P said a big YES to playing at our electronic night in Rouen. Yep. A bunch of us college students brought two international superstars to this medieval city in France! After that we did a lot of concerts with the best rappers, the Kanye West DJ in a 200k people city, and since then I've been named among the best entrepreneurs in Normandy. I am sharing this with you today because… Well, look at those first two lines: 4 months. 200 emails. THAT is what it took to get the biggest artists at the time to say yes to us. And you are telling me you “gave it your best” by following up with your ideal clients and opportunities only ONCE? Come on. Get serious. #jbTRENDS

Every event and every occasion is an opportunity to meet up with @Abigail Medenciy from Supio. Some of the fun we had in Nashville during the @American Asociation for Justice was at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Even Dolly was there! For those who have never had the opportunity to visit Nashville, you need to visit the Parthenon. Originally built in 1897 and restored in 1920, it designated Nashville as the "Athens of the South." Conventions may seem like fun, but if you want to come home successful you have to network. That means work. How? I talk to people I don't know about the venue we're in. I talk about something I'm passionate about! I talk about music when I'm in a music hall; I talk about restaurants or clubs we've been to. If you're new to client relationships, don't start with trying to sell them something. Think about how you will be remembered. Build a relationship and make it memorable. If you missed me at AAJ and want to discuss how your firm needs to update its software, set up a call, and let's determine your needs. https://lnkd.in/gC6zPWBG #onepercentbetter #relationships #networking #legaltech #legalsoftware #makeadifference #knowyourstuff

So I was just thinking about a cool post from Julius Solaris earlier this week about the level of noise… sorry I should say the loudness of the music at networking events 😜 and it got me thinking. It’s true that if you really are trying to network, the music should be at a decent volume that enables and encourages great connections to be made. But for those times when you just wanna cut loose, I’m interested to know what you want to listen to. Picture the scene…the corporate award programme is finished, and the band takes to the stage, or the side of the room depending on your set up. Have we heard enough of Daft Punk’s Get Lucky? Is it time for Pharrell to be a little less Happy? Should we finally believe what Bruno Mars has to say? Do we need to hang up this tired playlist or do these corporate favourites add a sense of familiarity to the event and anything too obscure just ruins the mood? What do you want to hear when it’s time to party at B2B events? I love music so much that I crave variety. But is that just me living in my own musical world? Is variety a little too unsafe for the corporate world? If you have time please let me know your thoughts and maybe suggest what songs you’d love to hear at your next corporate event 🎶 I can make it happen for you 😀 #cventconnect #thanksTFL

This is such a great story. Could you imagine doing your job in front of 14,000 people tomorrow?? This singer substituted for Olly Murs last night, standing in at the last minute as support act for Take That. Being a last minute substitute means less time to prepare but less time to get worried. Daniel Rooney said "I was more just focusing on what songs to sing. I was more excited than anything else.” Two things here: 😮 Excitement and anxiety are very similar feelings. It’s easy to go one way or the other. Go for excited if you can! It helps 🎤 Just focusing on what you are doing is a really good strategy. Focusing your attention on what you can control is also helpful Next time you are in a situation that could be nervous for you, try seeing it as exciting and focus on what you can control. https://lnkd.in/eCX-cyGf
