The Supershine project (Horizon Europe), in which ENA is a partner, has the main objective of improving energy efficiency and reducing energy poverty via renovations in social housing. Among the different themes addressed in this project, energy communities play a key role as drivers of the green transition. We love this graphic, from Regen's latest paper, Power of Places, which draws on insights from systematic literature reviews and engagement with 15 local authority and community energy stakeholders to highlight the significant opportunities of local energy presents. Local energy provides immense value to people, places and the UK’s national net zero mission.
