ICM Controls, headquarters in Syracuse, New York hosted its annual Giving Tree event to help those in need over the Holiday Season. Our Giving Tree was covered in tags from head to toe with wishes, gifts, and needs from families and individuals. Once all the gifts had been gathered and placed under the tree, our friends at the Salvation Army transported them to the families that be. We are very excited to continue this legacy and wish everyone a Happy Holiday filled with glee. #Giving #TistheSeason #HappyHolidays #SalvationArmy

𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐲’𝐬 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐞 With only four apartments available, our selection process is rigorous. Our selection criteria prioritizes families committed to change, ensuring that our limited resources make a lasting impact: ✅ Self-Elimination: Some families intentionally seek alternative housing, removing themselves from consideration. ✅ Criminal Offense Nature: Violent offenses against children or the elderly disqualify individuals. However, most other offenses can be considered with the right context. ✅ Willingness for Change: A critical requirement is the mother's genuine desire to change. Without this commitment, we run the risk of being just another housing program, which we strive not to be. Our process is inclusive and does not discriminate based on race, color, creed, national origin, or religious preference. We seek families ready to embrace change, allowing for meaningful support and lasting transformation. If you know families that could benefit from our program or want to get involved, please reach out to Mercy’s Shore. Together, we can create a brighter future for those in need! #NonProfitOrganization #CommunitySupport #TransformingLives #Philanthropy

What we do..
We are proud to support the vital work of Sefton Families Service. As this inspiring video shows, the service is changing lives by helping families move out of temporary accommodation into a home of their own 🏠 Through dedicated and specialist support, the Sefton Families Service team works closely with families to break the cycle of homelessness. Each family moves into a fully furnished house and receives intensive, ongoing support to help them gain independence and sustain their tenancies. When you donate to Church Homeless Charity, you enable us to go further - providing the essential items that help families feel truly settled and supported as they begin this new chapter. Together, we’re creating brighter futures ✨ #EndingHomelessness #HomelessCharity #SeftonFamiliesService #TemporaryAccommodation #BringChristmasHome https://lnkd.in/eQTbmD8C

Fifty-eight Guggenheim Securities employees in Chicago, New York, and San Francisco volunteered, this fall, with Carter Burden Network, Covenant House New York, Happy Hope Factory, OneGoal, and WeHero. Projects included facilitating Bingo games for older adults, assembling gift bags with essential hygiene items for youth experiencing homelessness, packing fall-themed activity kits for children receiving long-term care in hospitals, helping students from low-income communities apply to college, and making tug toys for shelter animals. #corporatesocialresponsibility #CSR #givingback #corporatecitizenship

Ok - so you may be one of those people who saw all the #GivingTuesday posts and thought it would be good to support them but ended up not doing anything. Well, I have great news for you - today can be #Ididnotletanotheropportunitypass day! And I have even better news - you can do it and get 100% of your donation back! I am talking about supporting one of the amazing Foster Care Organizations in Georgia by making a donation through the Fostering Success Act Tax Credit. As long as you are a Georgia taxpayer, you can be approved (it just takes a few minutes) and make a donation then get 100% of the money back when you file your taxes in 2025. Below is a link to the Goshen Valley website (the Foster Care Organization I support) which has an easy to follow, step-by-step instructions on how to take advantage of this. When you go to the State of Georgia website you will see the other 38 approved FCO's if you want to find one in your area. These organizations depend on our support - and the donations from the tax credit are a GAME CHANGER for them! So there it is...will you let another opportunity go by or will you take a few minutes and change lives for the better? For those of you that support this post, please like or share and help get the word out. Let's make today #Ididnotletanotheropportunitypass day!

Tis the season! People often ask me how they can get involved with our community. They want to give back, however they are not sure how to go about it. There are 6,300 registered charities in Nevada. The first step is to determine what is on your heart. Children? Animals? Education, healthcare, seniors? Next, decide how you would like to contribute. The three most common strategies are financial support (writing checks), sitting on a Board of Directors (donating your talents) or volunteering. If you don’t have the financial resources to be a donor, do not fear! Volunteering is not only fulfilling, but also highly valued by charity organizations. Volunteers are the true heroes. Today we review Olive Crest. Olive Crest - Olive Crest is dedicated to preventing child abuse by strengthening, equipping, and restoring children and families in crisis…one life at a time. This is a faith based organization focused on foster children and their families. Never forget Luke 12:48, “To whom much is given…much is required.” https://lnkd.in/gGNZvGpD
