Interreg ECHT’s Post

🎉 ECHT is on LinkedIn ! 🎉 🔎 What is ECHT ? In November 2023, the project to Enable Digital Product Passports with Chemicals Traceability for a Circular Economy (ECHT) was officially launched with the support and funding of Interreg North-West Europe (NWE). ♻ #ECHT works towards to facilitate the transition to a climate-neutral, resource-efficient Circular Economy in line with the Green Deal by promoting the cross-border implementation of the Digital Product Passport (DPP). 👕 In the framework of the EU Textiles Strategy, which aims to reduce waste and improve recycling through the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) and #DPP, ECHT addresses the challenge of tracking chemicals in complex supply chains. 👩💻 It supports micro and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the textile sector with traceability, enhancing their networks, innovation, and competitiveness. ECHT's first traceability strategy includes action plans for clothing and flooring value chains, along with training programs, with results shared on a knowledge platform to help #SMEs adopt new business models. #ESPR #CircularEconomy #Interreg Umweltbundesamt - German Environment Agency Hochschule Darmstadt Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) Luxinnovation GIE Luxembourg Media & Digital Design Centre (LMDDC) H&M Group Lacoste Pôle TEAM2 EURATEX - European Apparel and Textile Confederation ECRA - European Carpet and Rug Association PUMA Group Neovili Stichting Sympany
