NRW Holdings Chief Financial Officer Richard Simons participated in the Future of Mining panel today. In discussion with Glen Tommy, Telstra’s Group Owner of Mining, Energy and Construction, he outlined how data-driven decision-making improves teams’ safety and productivity. Richard has this to say about his panel appearance: “The ability to access real-time data is critical across all of our field operations—it is not a nice thing to have; it’s a necessity to deliver our work efficiently and safely. Across our mining and construction projects across the Group, we employ a variety of tools in the field that allow teams to share information, record safety events, monitor productivity and pivot to respond to changing conditions as they occur. This is only possible with a widespread and high-speed communications infrastructure that we rely on our partners at Telstra to deliver.” At NRW Holdings, we work every day to ensure safety remains our top priority. #Safety #FutureofMining

🗓️ Last month, the Coal Authority officially changed its name to the Mining Remediation Authority (MRA) to better reflect its expanded focus beyond the legacy of coal mining. This name change is part of a broader strategy aimed not only at addressing the impacts of it's mining legacy ⛏️ but also at exploring sustainable solutions. 🌏 As a partner of PGN, the MRA serves as our technical specialist in coal workings, providing invaluable expertise in several key areas.👷♀️👷 Incorporating the MRA into the PGN journey at an early stage allows us to adopt an innovative approach that will ultimately benefit the wider community. We look forward to our continued collaboration. #MiningRemediationAuthority #CoalAuthority #FCRIP #PGN #SustainableSolutions #MiningLegacy Meshi Taka CEng FICE MWES Lee Wyatt Rhiannon Marchi-Smith Adam Gilmore Lynn Thompson
