Part 2: Following the Trail Once I find the tracks, I follow their direction. Elephants often head toward water sources or areas with good vegetation. In Amboseli, the open plains can make the trail easy to follow, but I stay alert for changes in the terrain or signs that the herd has spread out. Stay tuned for part 3
