Ok a little tardy with my week 3 wrap up as we relocated with a drive from Southern California to Minnesota last week. (we'll save why I'm doing this for a future post 😜 ...) As a west coast gal, I have been spoiled with reasonably good cell reception/hotspot service during my road trip travels. Well... that ends once you get past Las Vegas... Out of 28 hours of actual driving I'd say about 18-20 of those hours had no to very limited cell coverage. Needless to say all of the projects I was hoping to get knocked out during the drive were still waiting for me when I was finally able to log on with real internet this morning. However, what was truly amazing was how much I was still able to accomplish with my team to keep the ball rolling on a number of newly launched initiatives. I attribute it to 3 things: 1. Having/hiring a great team who is self-motivated... 2. Defining a clear framework for the team to execute within... 3. Empowering that great team with "Freedom within the Framework" to make magic happen... I'm off to Denmark tonight to spend two weeks getting to know the global Zensai team including an exec offsite, my first revenue leadership offsite and our global senior leadership offsite. In the world of SaaS, successfully scaling is all about alignment both at the strategy and operational level across all functions. Love that Rasmus Holst and our board prioritize making the investment (time and money) to ensure teams are aligned across functions and around the globe. 🚀 Stay tuned for an update on Friday about my first week in Denmark!
Enjoy the Rocky Mountain Oysters and Northerns!!!
