Strategic Interests Over Democratic Values: The U.S. and Western powers have historically prioritized strategic interests over the promotion of democracy. This includes supporting dictators who align with their geopolitical goals, such as containing communism during the Cold War or ensuring access to resources. For instance, the U.S. supported authoritarian regimes in Iran, Guatemala, and Chile because those governments were perceived as stabilizing forces that aligned with American interests, despite their repressive practices

President Biden's speech was one of the most important speeches that an American president has presented to Israel and the world. He came with solid support and evidence; he has stood behind Israel from the first moment of the war, bringing aircraft carriers, air defense systems, and ammunition to the region in an unprecedented way. His speech was delivered from the heart, showing care and a real commitment to Israel. President Biden says unequivocally: The time has come to return the hostages, end the war, and move Israel to the next stage—economic, political, and security reconstruction. It's time. We must be brave and lead to the finish line. President Biden presented three parts of the agreement: First stage: A humanitarian ceasefire, followed by the release of all the hostages, including soldiers and female soldiers, in exchange for a large number of Palestinian prisoners, which will certainly not be easy for any of us. Second stage: Creating a wide zone north of the Lebanese border and reaching conditions that will allow the residents to return home. Third stage: The introduction of a leading Palestinian entity, such as the Palestinian Authority, and the integration of Israel's forces with the Americans, Egyptians, and Palestinians who are not Hamas for the reconstruction and demilitarization of the Strip. The most important stage involves an arrangement with Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, the Jordanians, the Egyptians, and the Bahrainis, under the auspices of the Americans and NATO, building a security, economic, and political coalition of which Israel is a part. A united coalition against extremist countries and organizations such as Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, and all those radicals who surround us and the region. This is a great opportunity. For this move, we need courage. Every Israeli should speak out loud and say: the time has come. We must not let the extremist elements in the Israeli government lead a military administration in Gaza, or try to return to Gaza through settlement and renewed occupation. Half of this government wants precisely that. We need to isolate the extremists, unite with the moderates on the right, in the center, and on the left, and lead this move with a great civil voice. Even if Hamas does not accept this offer immediately, even if these negotiations will be difficult, we must stand firm together with the Americans, the Egyptians, and the moderate Arab countries. This is what will give us the ability to move to the next stage, end the war, and restore the State of Israel. It's time! President Biden's speech & Photo - The White House -https://lnkd.in/dJVh4KcF

In the face of ongoing global conflicts, a critical question emerges: Who is truly responsible for war crimes committed during these wars? Focusing solely on individual leaders oversimplifies deeply rooted systemic failures. History reminds us of the Nuremberg Trials, where accountability extended beyond Hitler to the entire Nazi regime. This legacy introduced the Doctrine of Command Responsibility, ensuring leaders are answerable for the actions of their subordinates. However, accountability must go further than singular blame. Consider these examples: Russia-Ukraine War: Civilian casualties from missile strikes Alleged war crimes in Bucha and Mariupol Israel-Palestine Conflict: Bombings in Gaza resulting in civilian deaths Disputed settlements and reported violations in the West Bank The uncomfortable truth is that war crimes often stem from collective complicity—systems, structures, and regimes, not just individuals. It’s time to redefine accountability: From isolating blame to recognizing collective responsibility From targeting leaders alone to scrutinizing entire systems and regimes Only by embracing this broader perspective can we pave the way for justice, healing, and enduring peace. What do you think? How can we implement collective accountability for war crimes? #WarCrimes #Accountability #CollectiveResponsibility #InternationalLaw #Justice #NurembergTrials #RussiaUkraineWar #IsraelPalestineConflict #HumanRights #WarJustice #GlobalAccountability #InternationalCrimes #PeaceAndJustice #SystemicFailures #ConflictResolution #WarEthics #GlobalResponsibility #TruthAndReconciliation

Creation of a New World Order The idea that these alliances aim to create a "New World Order" suggests a geopolitical strategy that prioritizes control over genuine resolutions to conflicts.Example: The U.S.-led War on Terror has often been criticized for targeting groups fighting against oppressive regimes while ignoring the underlying issues that fuel these conflicts. This approach can exacerbate tensions and lead to further radicalization rather than fostering peace.

With Marco Rubio heading State there is no "guessing game" at all. Australia, the nation, is comprehensively fucked. We were set up by own national security community, and their slavish adherence to a US Origin fantasy that China has expansionary designs in the Indo-Pacific through military conquest. This is a #neocon fiction. What China cares about is Taiwan and the unfinished business of the #ROC versus the #PRC. The creep that began under Biden, on the One China policy and the UN agreement from 1979, will become a cause celebre under Rubio. Australia has an idiot national security strategy that will sink this nation. We are fucked. Comprehensively. Australia is officially a SELL. #PremierGlobalTrumpTrade Short Australia. „China, Iran, and Russia have declared war on American democracy. They’re doing a good job of mounting their attacks while Washington has not done enough to defend the country’s information space. Without a credible deterrence policy, these enemies will keep seeking to undermine the United States. U.S. leaders can no longer allow foreign adversaries to eat away at the fabric of American constitutional democracy. The information war is here, whether they like it or not.“ In Europe too - Whether we want to see it or not. ⚔️🇪🇺🇩🇪⚔️ #europe #democracy #informationwar https://lnkd.in/eBPpj2ep
