For our english followers | We are at the forefront of innovation with its groundbreaking project in the "Interreg Europe" program: #KnowledgeAnalytics! 🚀 Officially known as "Advanced Analytics for Knowledge Transfer Monitoring and Evaluation", this project is all about bridging the gap between scientific knowledge and real-world applications. 💡 It aims to transfer scientific insights to businesses and society while fostering collaboration between the realms of science and business. 📊 How? By harnessing the power of data analysis tools! 🔍 "KnowledgeAnalytics" recently launched a Call for Best Practices in Knowledge transfer, science, and business cooperation. 🌟The centerpiece of the initiative is the State of the Art report. Titled "Advanced analytics for efficient knowledge transfer: desired status and obstacles delaying its achievement," this report is a game-changer. It'll uncover the challenges faced by each region, guide the selection of best practices, and set the stage for future exchanges of experiences to tackle these challenges head-on. 📈 🤔 Why stop there? 🤔 "KnowledgeAnalytics" is also diving deep into the realm of advanced analytics, including artificial intelligence, big data, and more. These tools have immense potential to enhance public interventions supporting knowledge transfer between science and business. 💡 Recently we met for the first 2 days kick-off meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania. It brought together key stakeholders, including Zita Duchovskienė, Salomėja Vanagienė, Kristina Babelyte-Labanauske, RTTP, prof. dr. Pranciskus Vitta for insightful discussions and networking opportunities. 🤝 📚 Day 1 was jam-packed with sessions covering project objectives, partner activities and best practices. The agenda was brimming with excitement and learning opportunities! Day 2 kicked followed by sessions on project management and coordination. It concluded with study visits and final remarks, leaving everyone inspired and ready to take on the challenges ahead. 🌟 📝 More information and updates on this groundbreaking project can be found on our website ▶️ https://lnkd.in/dm7hTyzF or project website ▶️https://lnkd.in/da-gCw22 Let's unlock the power of knowledge together! 🔓

Last Friday, we spoke with Agnes Aljas at the Estonian Research Council’s webinar, sharing our experience as a Horizon Europe project partner in the i-Game project, which aims to facilitate innovation in the European video game and cultural sectors. We covered a range of topics: Why participate at all: What can a small research institution gain from participating in large, interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral Horizon Europe projects? In a small research institution, every large project shifts the rhythm and scope of work – is it worth it? Time factor: In large-scale projects, everything takes more time than planned. Beyond substantive work, there’s also the administrative load – coordination, reporting, etc. It can feel like a big additional cost! Are there also rewards? Strategic alignment: For us, projects must connect with our ongoing research themes and create synergies between the ongoing projects. Humanities and social scientists in a tech-centred project: How do humanities and social scientists find their place in projects led by tech partners? Combining expertise: Do other partners recognize the added value our knowledge brings to the project? The culture of international collaboration: How do we navigate diverse work styles and expectations within international teams? But there are also topics we barely touched but are crucial to succeed as an international project team. Can you extend this list? ❤️Finding common ground with project partners takes time, and it is important to get to know people beyond their roles. Who are we beyond our job titles? What inspires us and drives our actions? 🌱 Are we seen and valued? Strong relationships create an open environment for discussing challenges and sharing ideas. 💡Taking time to understand what truly matters to our team members helps us build stronger bonds and foster trust. 🔥When challenges arise – big deadlines or doubts about whether our collaboration can truly make a difference in the world – these human connections are, what will make the critical difference. 🌟 Engaging New Partners in Interreg Projects 🌟 On 4–5 December, we attended Interact's workshop in Ljubljana on "New Partners in Interreg Projects," sharing strategies and results from our 1st Call for Proposals. We presented the communication strategy we developed to attract newcomers in our first Call for Proposals, dedicated to Small-Scale Projects and Standard Projects. We focused on: ✅ Collaboration with a specialised communication agency: social media, TV, and radio campaigns. ✅ A robust online presence: regular updates and resources on our website. ✅ Four Infodays across Italy and Croatia for guidance and networking. ✅ Targeted press releases to amplify visibility. 🎯 Results: - 72 new applicants for Small-Scale Projects (out of 97 total). - 386 new applicants for Standard Projects (out of 1,106 total). Challenges & Lessons: New partners enrich civil society involvement but often require extra support due to limited project management experience. Simplifying processes and consistent guidance are critical! 💡 Events like this reaffirm the importance of innovative communication and support strategies in fostering greater inclusivity and participation in Interreg programmes. 👍 The first year of the MECOG-CE project – Strengthening Metropolitan Cooperation and Governance in Central Europe, is successfully completed! 💗 For over a year, we've been dedicated to the enhancement of metropolitan areas in Central Europe. Now, as we are in the next phase of our journey, we're thrilled to share our achievements so far. We: ✅ created a Common Metropolitan Vision advocating the metropolitan agenda at European and national levels. ✅ identified challenges and opportunities specific to Central European metropolitan areas, paving the way for the metropolitan enhancement and growth. ✅ analysed metropolitan governance systems and best practices, gathering invaluable insights from MECOG partner' areas. In total, 47 examples of good practice were collected, and the main outcomes of this analysis were presented in the STORYMAP 👉 https://1url.cz/9u6JD . ✅ explored best practices outside the Central European region, incorporating successful best practices and tools from areas like Amsterdam, Barcelona, and Birmingham. But our work is far from over! We're diving deeper into learning about selected best practices within study clusters and implementing pilot actions to test their effectiveness in our metropolitan areas. Through cooperation, we aim to propose improvements that will further strengthen metropolitan cooperation and governance. Together, we're shaping the future of metropolitan development in Central Europe. 💪 Learn more in the article below where you will find the links for all project outcomes. 👇 #metropolitandevelopment #metropolitanplanning #centraleurope #project #achievements #metropolia Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme

Signing for Interreg Baltic Sea Region proposal. Great to build consortium and find the matching competencies. Those are not only for this proposal, we can extend the consortium for EU proposals in the thematic topics. Networking is the way to new collaborations and partnerships. Those create opportunities. One way to expand first collaborations to a consortium is to conduct workshops in that topic of interest. Or Forums. Since my role is transfer of knowledge and impact creation, that is something I enjoy because I find learnings and sharing of practices which can be applied to other areas.
