It’s #BCorpMonth, and what better way to celebrate than to increase the general understanding of the B Corp certification? Below, you can explore three highlights that we believe are essential to the B Corp understanding. ♻ 🌱 What is a B Corp? Certified B Corps lead the global movement of an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy, effecting positive social change through specific actions and ambitious goals. The B Corp certification signifies that a business meets high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency. 🌱 How does it work? The holistic 3rd party certification is conducted by the global non-profit organisation B Lab. Their thorough B Impact Assessment evaluates a company based on five key parameters: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. 🌱 Why is being a B Corp important for Fredericia? As a B Corp, Fredericia is genuinely committed to creating tangible environmental and societal benefits. Our holistic approach to sustainability integrates B Lab’s key parameters into our framework, providing transparency for partners and customers. #fredericiafurniture #bcorp #bcorpcertification #bcorpcertified #bcorpmonth #thiswayforward #Bthechange

For Trinnovo Group, the mission is clear – to build diversity, create inclusion, and encourage workplace innovation, a mission that harmonises with the B-Corp value system. Looking to the future, CEO Ashley Lawrence, MBA said: ‘We are delighted to join the B Corp movement, it’s a fantastic certification which aligns with our mission and holds us accountable to our impact and the upholding of our values. The impact assessment for the certification acts as a self-measuring tool. That’s one of the ways I see Trinnovo Group finding improvements for best practices, and we are encouraged to keep improving as we remain accountable to the world, our customers, and our employees. As the standards become more rigorous, it will challenge and inspire us to evolve and innovate.' Integrity is the cornerstone of our ethos. It defines our standards, our actions, and our interactions with others. At its core, integrity embodies honesty and the unwavering commitment to do the right thing, whether in a crowded room or when no one is watching. Living with integrity means upholding justice, ethics, and empathy in every aspect of our lives. It requires us to have difficult conversations when necessary and to approach life with a steadfast moral compass. This true north not only guides our personal standing but also influences the broader circles we touch. For those who live by this code, integrity becomes the foundation of a lasting legacy, a testament to a life lived with purpose and honor. As C.S. Lewis once said, "Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching." This principle is not just a guideline but a way of life, shaping who we are and the impact we leave behind. #legacy
