This initiative is part of a broader effort, with the Council already securing £4.8 million from the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme Phase 3c, aimed at transitioning nine buildings to low-carbon technologies. With a goal of achieving net zero by 2030, the Council is focusing on reducing energy consumption and emissions by enhancing building efficiency and incorporating renewable energy sources. Cllr Phillip Jackson emphasises that this funding is crucial for reducing environmental impact and operational costs, ultimately benefiting taxpayers. Salix’s Christopher Masters commends the Council’s commitment, noting that these efforts lay a solid foundation for their net zero journey. #renewables #environmentalhealth #sustainablesolutions #cleanenvironment #sustainability #environmental #sustainableenergy #carbonemissions Click the link below to read more and follow Lincolnshire In Focus for more regional updates. https://lnkd.in/exYbHbP8
