Hot flushes and nightsweats are among the most bothersome symptoms of menopause. The data we have so far says that 75% of women will be affected by them for a time range of couple of years up to 20 years. Although most of us associate menopause with hot flushes, only a few know that they can begin many years before actually having the last menses. Even if we live in a very technologizied world readily eager to incorporate gadges and devices to ease our life, few women get the right medical scientifically proven treatment to help them navigate this stage which has a huge impact both on our bodies and brains. #menopauseawareness

Did you know that nearly a third of women globally are in pre, peri, or menopause? For women in business, this phase of life often intersects with peak career responsibilities. Yet, declining estrogen levels—a key player in every organ system—can bring challenges beyond hot flashes and night sweats, including brain fog, fatigue, mood swings, and even physical symptoms like bone weakness or skin issues. The result? Productivity and confidence can take a hit, while the workplace remains largely unprepared to address these issues. The medical system often overlooks menopause, dismissing symptoms as vague or psychosomatic, leaving women without proper support. It’s time to change the narrative. Women in leadership need access to tailored solutions, including informed medical care, lifestyle strategies, and, when appropriate, safe hormone replacement therapies. Employers can play a vital role by fostering understanding and creating policies that support women navigating this critical phase. Menopause isn’t just a personal challenge—it’s a societal opportunity to champion better health and productivity for women in business. Let’s start the conversation. #MenopauseMatters #WomenInBusiness #Leadership #HealthSupport #BreakingStigma

What are your goals for the week to invest in you? Evidence supports prioritizing one or two goals increases the likelihood of achieving outcomes compared to having goals but not prioritizing. In fact, by prioritizing two goals, it appears it does not negatively impact performance on additional goals you select but do not prioritize. SO what does this mean? Prioritize YOU! Smile.
