TechBBQ – the largest startup and innovation summit in Scandinavia I'm looking forward to participating in this year’s TechBBQ, where I'll be addressing some of the key questions surrounding the quick development of AI. The growth of AI brings significant opportunities, but also challenges, particularly when it comes to understanding and complying with the AI Act. I will - among other things - focus on how businesses can use AI's potential while ensuring they protect their own rights and avoid infringing on others. Wanted: Startup founders from the Gothenburg region whose coffee machine looks like this. We need you for a #founderfika! I really miss a weekly gathering of startup founders in Gothenburg. A low barrier meeting, every week, about an hour, no agenda's, no need to give heads up on attendance, just a chat with a cup of coffee with like-minded people. Giving newcomers to the region an entry-point into the ecosystem, and Gothenburg veterans a chance to share why "Väst är Bäst". I think this type of event is a vital part of having a healthy entrepreneurial ecosystem and to my knowledge we're lacking it in Gothenburg. I pulled this panel together because: 1. 😍- I love Maine's small local businesses and 17,000+ of them are owned by people aged 55+ 2. 3x - Local businesses circulate three times more money in their communities than absentee-owned companies. 3. ⚖ - entrepreneurs acquiring local businesses can begin to close the racial and gender wealth gap.
