When it comes to creativity, the n-fuze team thrives on a challenge! So when our favourite partners at Pink Giraffe sent us one of their #capturetheculture2024 boxes, we were all over it! The moment this creative gem arrived, it was clear it was going to be a loud day in our oasts. As we tore open the box, a cheeky giraffe emerged, leaving a trail of chaos and laughter in its wake. Over the last five years, Tessa and I have led exciting, intertwined lives by taking action for our dreams and showing up for each other. Part of our friendship has been creating dream boards together yearly. What started as a fun way to spark creativity quickly became a tradition we couldn't imagine skipping. It's not just about what we put on those boards—it's about who we become. And now? We're sharing that magic with others in a live event. Last Friday was truly energizing 🤩 ! The entire Humanity team came together for our inaugural 'Super TWAM' (Together We Are Meeting). While we hold 'TWAMs' every other month—hybrid all-agency meetings to celebrate each other, agency news, and our ongoing work—this one was extra special. Amidst the warmth of shared hugs, it felt like a family reunion. Though many of us work near our office and visit weekly, we also have humans spread across Ontario, Vancouver, and Montreal. All of us gathering in person is a rare treat for us all. Here's what our Super TWAM, facilitated by the insightful Karen Stern from Sidekick looked like: 🤓 Business Operations: We kicked things off by delving into how we function as a business. 🤓 Development at Humanity: We discussed our quarterly review process. It’s crucial for every team member to understand their role in our agency's success, while also ensuring their wellbeing and celebrating their achievements. 🤓 Our Vision: As a creative agency, it's easy to get lost in the day-to-day grind, but it’s vital to articulate what sets us apart. We explored Humanity's identity, defining who we are, what we stand for, and our unique essence that makes Humanity, well, Humanity. Our 10-year vision might be ambitious, but we're thrilled to build it alongside our incredible humans with our clearly defined Why, How, and What. Then, we ate 🍕. 🤓 Values Workshop: When we launched Humanity nearly four years ago, we quickly outlined our values. But over time, we realized they lacked depth. Now, with four years of growth and insights from our team, we revisited and refined our values to reflect what's been built and how we want to move forward. Together, we delved into what each value truly means and what each one looks like in action. 🤓 We concluded with Goal Setting: We outlined Humanity's 2024 business objectives, breaking them down so every team member can contribute to achieving these milestones. In addition, everyone set their personal development goals. A huge thank you to every human at Humanity for making Super TWAM a truly amazing day.
