This is very concerning. I understand that different jobs come with different rules and contracts, but as someone working in human resources, it doesn't sit right with me to deny medical support to any worker, even if they signed a contract that denies immediate leave for emergencies. However, in this case, they did not sign such a contract. If you find yourself in a similar situation, I recommend updating your resume and seeking legal advice to take action against the company. Jobs Queensland's employment projections have been released showing a growth across urban, regional and remote Queensland. Health and Social Assistance is leading the way, projected to employ more than 30% of all new workers.
Discover brand-new employment projections for Queensland! 🔑 Key takeaways 💡 Our Anticipating Future Skills data projects employment growth across urban, regional and remote Queensland between 2023–24 and 2027–28. More than 70% of additional jobs are projected to be in four industries: - Health care and social assistance - Public administration and safety - Professional, scientific and technical services - Education and training. The top five regions for employment growth are projected to be: - Sunshine Coast - Logan-Beaudesert - Moreton Bay - Gold Coast - Brisbane.
