Millions of Americans are already casting ballots for the 2024 election, using mail and early in-person voting. Georgia and North Carolina are leading with record-breaking early turnouts. However, a high volume of mail-in ballots in key states like Pennsylvania may delay the final results until after Election Day. Early voting is becoming a significant part of our democratic process—keeping an eye on trends can help prepare for how results may unfold. Americans Hitting the Polls Early With one last week to go before Election Day, over 45.5 million Americans have already cast their ballots either in person or via mail. Democrats lead Republicans in early voting 42% to 40%, with the other 18% unknown, and early voters have favored in-person voting over mail-in ballots. Fifty-three percent of early voters are women and 45% are men, and nearly half of all early voters were aged 65 or older. You can find your state’s results here. In 2020, a record number of Americans voted early. By election day that year more than 101,450,000 people had already voted. https://lnkd.in/gWZfckAr

UPDATE: Nearly 55 million Americans have already voted, with three days left for early voting. I anticipate that between 75 and 80 million Americans will have voted before Election Day, and that about 112 million people will vote in total—meaning approximately 71.4% of voters will have cast their ballots early. That also means that nearly 39 percent of eligible voters will not vote in 2024 going by historical data.

What to expect on Election Night 2024? The same process as in 2020. Experts believe that due to the expansion of Early Voting and Vote by Mail, many states will still be in the process of counting ballots well after Election Day. Thus watch parties can be both fun and anxiety provoking as voters watch two separate phenomenons occur: A Red Mirage followed by a Blue Shift. Curious to know what to expect? I suggest watching this great video explanation from my Brother in the Movement - Professor Robert Reich - and ask that you share this video with your networks so they can be prepared. Vote In Or Out 🇺🇸 on Instagram: "Trump’s dirty election night trick doesn’t work if you know it’s coming. Let me explain. Repost @rbreich The “red mirage” and “blue shift” are phenomena observed in U.S. election results due to differences in how votes are counted. The red mirage occurs early on election night when in-person votes, which often favor Republican (red) candidates, are tallied first.

🚨 Early Voting Trends Raise Concerns for Harris Campaign Former Obama campaign manager Jim Messina sounds the alarm: "Early vote numbers are a little scary," he admits. Key observations: • Republican voters showing higher turnout compared to previous election • Trump supporters demonstrating increased engagement • Democratic strategists acknowledging GOP advantage As the race intensifies, both campaigns face critical questions: 1. How will these early numbers impact overall election strategy? 2. What moves can Democrats make to energize their base? 3. Is this a temporary blip or a sign of a larger shift? One thing's certain: Every vote will count in this high-stakes contest. What's your take on these early voting patterns? Are they predictive of the final outcome? follow me @ jalal sabsabi #Election2024 #VoterTurnout #PoliticalStrategy

As tomorrow's March 5, 2024, Presidential Primary Election approaches, voters of Rancho Cordova are gearing up to make their voices heard. For those who prefer to cast their ballot in person or drop off securely, voters can find several convenient options for both ballot drop boxes and vote centers throughout the city. Located inside Rancho Cordova City Hall will serve as one of three designated ballot drop box locations for the upcoming election. The ballot drop box will remain open through Election Day, Tuesday March 5, during regular business hours. Additionally, two other drop box locations are available within the city: ☑️ BurgerIM, 4040 Sunrise Boulevard, Suite 100, Rancho Cordova ☑️ KP International Market, 10971 Olson Drive, Rancho Cordova These ballot drop boxes provide accessible and secure means for voters to submit their ballots ahead of Election Day on Tuesday, March 5. This allows voters to conveniently drop off their ballots. However, it's essential to note that voted ballots dropped off into a ballot drop box must be dropped off no later than the close of polls at 8:00p.m. on Election Day, March 5, 2024 to ensure they are counted. DEVELOPING: Around 9 million mail-in and early in-person votes have been recorded nationally for the 2024 election, with a significant majority—73%—being mail-in ballots, while 27% were cast in person. NOTE: Battleground states such as Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, and Georgia show considerable early participation, with mail-in voting being the dominant choice in most states, except in Georgia, where almost all the early voting has been in-person voting.

Early Voting, also known as in-person, no-excuse absentee voting in Missouri, starts today through November 4. Because of the length of the ballot this year in certain areas, election officials are encouraging folks to take advantage of this period to avoid potential long lines on Election Day. Here’s what you need to know: 1️⃣ Locations for in-person absentee voting may be different than where you normally would vote on Election Day, so check with your local election authority. 2️⃣ You must bring a government-issued photo ID that is either valid or has expired since the last federal election in November 2022. You can also view our entire voting resource guide on our website that has links to find your local election authority and tells you what you can expect when you cast your vote: https://lnkd.in/gjKUNPpT
