🌟 Orano launches two Sharing Groups for the development of Advanced Modular Reactor fuel! 🎉 We are thrilled to announce the formation of two dedicated Sharing Groups aimed at enhancing collaboration with start-ups for Advanced Modular Reactor (AMR) fuel development! 1. MOX Fast Neutron Reactor (FNR) Sharing Group This group brings together three FNR designers - HEXANA, newcleo, and Otrera Energy – along with Orano. We will focus on the manufacturing and reprocessing of FNR MOX fuel at the Orano la Hague plant, as well as the associated logistics. 2. Fast Neutron Molten Salt Reactor (MSR) Sharing Group Joining forces with three Fast MSR designers - NAAREA, STELLARIA 🌀, and THORIZON - this group will concentrate on the manufacturing and reprocessing of liquid fuel, also at the Orano la Hague plant, as well as on the associated logistics. Just to let you know. Fission is on its way to becoming redundant faster because it is "out of step, out of time, out of place," and only an interim industry in the world. They will decommission it soon, as there is a shortage of fissile fuel, similar to what is happening with fossil fuels. If you're interested in nuclear energy, opt for the cleaner and safer option of nuclear fusion. Fusion offers more energy security and sovereign security than fission and the development of more jobs, newer careers and industries in the Nuclear fusion industry. It will be interesting as the fission fuel shortage becomes real as they try to treble the industry and advances in the renewables, grid-attached variable hydrogen power generation with batteries and fusion as a total system solution of power generation for the whole world and not just 39 rich countries. Without weaponisation, pollution of our waterways and the need to bury waste have been and will continue to be dangerous for thousands of years. What a waste of time you are here. Fission fuel. 🚨Breaking News: The European Industrial Alliance on SMRs is now a reality : Be part of it & apply!   The European Industrial Alliance on Small Modular Reactors (#SMRs) is now live, spearheading the accelerated development of safe and #lowcarbon SMR technologies by the early 2030s. Focused on collaborative efforts among key stakeholders, the alliance aims to fortify the nuclear supply chain, support specific SMR projects, and identify investment opportunities. This crucial initiative plays a pivotal role in #decarbonizing challenging sectors like transport, chemicals and steel.   In a keynote speech at the European Investment Bank Group Forum yesterday, European Commission Executive Vice-President for the European Green Deal, Maroš Šefčovič, underscored the importance of restoring technology neutrality for a sustainable energy future. Recognizing the role of low-carbon sources like hydrogen, he announced the launch of the European Industrial Alliance on Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) in collaboration with Member States and industry. Šefčovič highlighted the potential of SMR technology in decarbonizing the energy sector and boosting #energysecurity. He encourages financial institutions, including the European Investment Bank, to join the dialogue and collaborate with the private sector to foster the development of the SMR value chain in Europe, positioning Europe as a leader in this emerging technology.   🚀Join the SMR Alliance: Open to public and private entities meeting criteria in the Terms of Reference, the alliance application process is ongoing until 12 April 2024.
