Sudan is now facing the world's largest displacement crisis, with 150,000 fatalities and 12.2 million displaced. The conflict between military factions has deepened an already strained region, with 79% of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Darfur. Al Fasher, under siege by the RSF, is witnessing severe food insecurity, and mass atrocities are feared if the city falls, particularly against the Masalit community, echoing the region's history of ethnically motivated violence. These stories of resilience and hope illustrate an innate strength hard to emulate. These stories are too common in the face of conflict, climate, and poverty displacement these days. What are productive ways to partner with and create networks of resilient, resourceful, and dynamic individuals who are carrying so much they have little time to do anything but survive? How do we step out of the way and support displaced groups to enact solutions to reclaim their homes?
A powerful, personal message from USAID/Sudan colleague Nimat Nurein on her journey through the aftermath of the 1 year-old Sudan armed conflict. Read this to better understand the human side of the world's largest food security and humanitarian crisis.

The ongoing Sudan conflict now represents the largest displacement crisis in the world, with approximately 12.2 million displaced to neighbouring countries. Additionally, 15,000 casualties have been reported since the conflict broke out in April 2023. The displacement of civilians is putting a strain on its seven neighbouring states, which are constantly receiving an influx of refugees, while the majority of the population in these states are also facing acute food insecurity. https://lnkd.in/dphdJNDc

Is #Sudan a forgotten war? A war that started with counter-accusations has caused enormous human suffering. Two warring generals from the Rapid Support Forces(RSF) and the Sudan Army continue a war with due disregard for human rights or lives. On various quarters, it is estimated that 20k - 150k lives have been lost, 7 million Sudanese have been driven to starvation, and 1.8 million of the 8.7 million displaced have moved to neighbouring countries. This tragedy has dire situations have been complicated by an outbreak of war on the border of Chad and Sudan, an outbreak of hunger and diseases which has led to over 3.5 million facing malnutrition. Africa, we must stand with Sudan, the people of Sudan. The war is ravaging everything we know about Sudan. Here is #AfricansRising response to the conflict: https://buff.ly/489m5Uq. #IAmTheSudanRevolution #StopSudanWar #EndSudanWar #KeepEyesOnSudan #BorderlessAfrica #LetOurPeopleMove

Afghanistan have almost complete the railway track from Iran to Afghanistan and very soon Afghanistan will no more depend on any port of Pakistan. Billion of dollars loss. The country is completing it's water canal that give boost to it's agriculture. Pakistan is still in an unstable political condition. Almost all the government function are stand still except seeking loan from lenders and arresting citizen, victimizing, tourchering, favouring the culprits and punishing the Patriots. What authorities have planned for the future of Pakistan? Are we the departing generation, leaving Pakistan, a bless land of opportunities or stories of Ghastapo, Savik, Mossad, RAW, ISI, MI, MI5? Save Pakistan for better Pakistan.

On April 15th, 2023, violent clashes erupted between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Sudan, resulting in the displacement of more than 10 million people, including internally displaced people (IDPs), asylum seekers and refugees. This conflict exacerbated many of Sudan’s existing challenges, including ongoing conflicts, disease outbreaks, economic and political instability and climate emergencies. To add to the above suffering the heavy rains and floods during the past few days across Sudan give the situation which is already very difficult more complications. Sudan is a neglected crisis it receives disproportionately little attention. The civilians here feels like they are suffering alone. Their plight hasn't captured global interest, unlike the situation in Ukraine or Gaza. Please support & pray for Sudan.

Around 90,000 displaced people who had already fled their homes once lived in this camp in Zalingei in Central Darfur. Back in October and November, when the conflict that’s gripping Sudan reached the camp, these people faced indescribable atrocities. Many of them fled for their lives. Those that remain now have no access to water or basic necessities. There is no food distribution from aid organizations that can help them. Like many communities affected by the year-long conflict in Sudan, the people in Zalingei have no access to advanced health care, and there is no referral system in place. Our emergency teams have worked to rehabilitate the town’s hospital, which is the only one providing advanced health care in the whole of Central Darfur. But the needs are immense. These people need so much help, and the help just isn’t coming. Right now, it’s incredibly difficult to deliver humanitarian aid in Sudan — but it’s not impossible. #TalkAboutSudan https://lnkd.in/eET3D2pX

"IN THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS." THUS DOESN'T THAT ALSO INCLUDE THE HOMELESS. THE HOMELESS ARE OUT THERE... ARE YOU.? HOMELESS A OPPORTUNITY MISUNDERSTOOD..... The modern economic system is a market economy, which is a capitalist economy where people, not the government--NOT THE GOVERNMENT--own most businesses. In a capitalist economy, prices allocate capital and labor between competing uses, and capital assets like factories, mines, and railroads can be privately owned and controlled. https://lnkd.in/eB98Jnv9 GOOGLE. EXAMPLE, IF YOU NEED TO RAISE MONEY FOR ANY REASON OR MORE SO LETS SAY THE "HOMELESS" PROBLEM WHICH IS BELIEVED TO BE TIME & MONEY CONSUMING BUT IN ONE DIRECTION TOWARD THE HOMELESS. HOWEVER CRYPTOCURRENCY CAN POSSIBLE ALLOWS AN EXPENDITURE OF CURRENCY TO BENEFIT ALL WHO USES THE CRYPTO & REGARDLESS OF HOW IT'S CONSUMED. THEREFORE IF A CRYPTO "HOMELESS" CURRENCY EXISTED IT'S MORE HIGHLY LIKELY THAT THE HOMELESS PROBLEM CAN BE VANQUISHED BECAUSE CURRENCY-FINANCES IT'S ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO BE TAPPED INTO FOR HOMELESS RESOLUTIONS.
