I’m having a great time at the Canadian Greenhouse Conference in the beautiful Niagara Region. Greenhouses may seem like a traditional industry to some. By leveraging freshwater mussels’ natural filtering abilities, the plant ensures clean drinking water, demonstrating how nature can be integrated into modern infrastructure to enhance sustainability and efficiency. This approach, which reduces the need for chemical interventions, mirrors our focus on utilising ecosystem services to address environmental challenges.
