Tan Sri Nazir Razak has emphasized that addressing key factors is crucial for successful transformation. He notes, "Transformation begins with a clear vision and mission for the organization. It involves assessing the current agenda and aligning it with the present situation. Equally important is evaluating the organization’s structure, are roles and responsibilities properly aligned? Do you have the right people in the right positions? These elements are fundamental to achieving effective and sustainable transformation." This is valuable guidance for the PKNS Group as we embark on our transformation journey. By focusing on these critical areas, we can navigate our evolution effectively and drive sustainable growth and success.

Don’t discuss transformation with people who don’t understand strategy. Strategic choice: differentiation strategy, compete with expertise in niche markets; total cost leadership strategy, prioritize cost-effectiveness in mass markets; concentration strategy, segmented markets, trust and understanding; goals, become stronger and bigger? Resource endowment, what are you good at! Transformation has always been a strategic issue. We must have the courage to choose and not regret, and do what we want without breaking the rules.

why we need change? It is vitally important that organizations continually seek to improve and innovate. This means that they must continually undergo change. However, they should also strive to establish constancy and stability. Organizations are thus tasked with striking a delicate balance between being change-oriented and constant. Organizations must plan for the present and the future while also taking account of their past. The point, in this regard, is not to engage in change for its own sake. Rather it is essential for managers to innovate with a purpose – to understand where their strengths and weaknesses are and where they have room to grow and positively develop.
