📢 Read now: The 2023 and final Annual Report of the RHP Fund. It looks back at the achievements of this remarkable initiative since its foundation, and during its concluding year in particular.   🏘️ From 2012 to 2023, the Regional Housing Programme (RHP) has provided homes to 36,000 most-vulnerable #refugees and displaced persons across #BosniaandHerzegovina, #Croatia, #Montenegro, and #Serbia.   Throughout the past decade of the RHP's operations, the CEB - Council of Europe Development Bank has managed close to €300 million in donor funds, as well as leveraged its expertise on #socialhousing to support the provision of housing for people displaced by the conflicts in the former Yugoslavia during the early 1990s.   The RHP came to an end in December 2023, having proven to be a “successful initiative which should serve as a blueprint for future co-operation in other post-conflict or reconstruction contexts”, as noted by CEB Vice-Governor Tomas Bocek during the Final RHP Conference.   Full report 👉https://lnkd.in/eH3ampyj   UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, OSCE, Marja Seppala, Clara Thompson-Lipponen, Darko Petrovic, Katrin AMBERG , Marina Milosevic Dussaule

The radical Islamic extremism has caused the Palestinian people to be thrown out of multiple Arabic countries, yet the world is condemning Israel for defending itself against a war that began 11 months ago when hamas breached a ceasefire and massacred innocents at a Music Festival. hamas is due no quarter, and the sooner they surrender and release every hostage alive or dead, the sooner the deaths of Palestinian civilians will be ending.
