Great to represent 42 Technology again at the Innovation Zero event for 2024 and to see all of the work that is going on in the area and the enthusiasm for it. There were some interesting emerging technologies exhibited today and a real emphasis on the themes of hydrogen, carbon capture and emissions monitoring as well as the drivers like regulations and finance behind them. CeNTI participates in the development of more sustainable batteries Based on its vast know-how, the Centre has sought to respond to the current energy sector challenges, creating disruptive energy storage solutions, contributing to reducing demand for critical natural resources and reducing the carbon footprint associated with new battery production. The research lines are based on the need to reduce dependence on critical raw materials through the use of more sustainable materials for incorporation into lithium-based batteries and new battery technologies, such as sodium batteries. In addition, incorporating recycled materials into manufacturing different battery components reinforces the commitment to achieving innovative and environmentally conscious products.
