Did you know that our Aqueous™ is able to vary the vent on our pressurized deaerators? What does that mean? Some steam systems could have major load swings. Think winter load vs summer load, or different process loads in an industrial plant. Utilizing two additional flow and temperature sensors installed on the deaerator, Aqueous™ is able to control a calibrated modulating vent valve, thus limiting steam loss based on live load. That way the customer’s valuable BTUs are not wasted out from an oversized vent on light load! The vent modulates to open more during the higher loads and closes during smaller loads. Think of the payback to the customer!

A Breather Valve, also known as a Pressure/ Vacuum Relief Valve or Pressure/ Vacuum Valves, is an automatic or vacuum-relieving device actuated to protect low pressure storage tanks from excessive pressure or vacuum. When out-breathing happens? 1. When the tank is pumped in with the fluid: The liquid level in the tank will increase. Therefore, vapor space will be less which will result in pressure increase. (As a result the PVV valve will release some of the vapor to decrease the pressure to the normal set point pressure). 2. During summer: The stored liquid will be heated up and some of the liquid will convert to vapor and the vapor will expand inside the tank which will cause pressure rise. (As a result the PVV valve will release some of the vapor to decrease the pressure to the normal set point pressure) When in-breathing happens? 1. When the liquid is pumped out from the tank. The liquid level inside the tank decreases which will result in decrease in the pressure. (If the tank is blanketed. The blanketing gas regulator will supply blanketing gas to increase the pressure. If the tank is not blanketed or the blanketing gas regulator fails, then the PVV will supply air to increase the pressure.) 2. During winter: Vapor space cools down and condenses, so we need to supply more blanketing gas #WorkingPrinciple #PressureVacuumReliefValve #BreatherValve #KoreaSteelPowerCorp #KSPC

Upgrade your steam system today with Watson McDaniel steam separators and unlock the full potential of your operations. #SteamSystem #Efficiency #WatsonMcDaniel #IndustrialEngineering
Do your modulating control valves and pressure-reducing valves suffer from premature seat failure? ...or do your humidifiers periodically spit condensate? ...or suffer intermittent wet packs in your sterilizer? ...or premature failure of heat exchanger tube bundles? ...or premature vortex and turbine flow meter failures? There is a simple and cost-effective solution to resolve the above. The Watson McDaniel Company steam separators will remove 99% of all particles larger than 10 microns and 40% of entrained water by weight based on the unit's flow capacity. • • • Give us a call today, 610-495-5131, or head over to our website at www.watsonmcdaniel.com for more information!

Pneumatic membrane control valve principle: its regulation principle is: take the Compressed air as the power, through the electrical valve positioner to control the size of the gas pressure, so that air on the control valve rubber diaphragm, the contraction and expansion of the diaphragm and then drive the stem up and down action to achieve the control of media.

A vacuum circuit breaker is a type of circuit breaker that uses a vacuum as the arc extinguishing medium. When the contacts of the breaker open, an arc is generated between them due to the current flow. The vacuum inside the breaker extinguishes this arc by quickly cooling and de-ionizing the arc plasma. This type of circuit breaker is often used in medium to high voltage applications where high reliability and fast operation are required. Vacuum circuit breakers are known for their high breaking capacity, low maintenance requirements, and long service life.
