Just starting assignment with IRCWASH in Uganda to operationalize national systems strengthening roadmap. Answers to some of our toughest questions sit outside the water and sanitation sector - talking to Ministry of Local Government, Ministry of Public Services, Office of the Prime Minister and National Planning Authority. This is where the long-term solutions sit.

As I take a deep dive into the water and waste management sector its becoming more apparent that the war on leaks will continue to rage for municipalities who are grappling to find long term solutions as reported by Rand Water.
