Data and new initiatives show that climate technology and political leadership are pushing the agenda. 📈 Almost 200 startups with climate solutions are based in the Oslo region (Dealroom) 🏗 The City of Oslo's #ClimateBudget, aiming to reduce CO2 emissions by 2030 has been replicated in places like New York City Oslo kommune Klimaetaten i Oslo kommune 📍 Hovinbyen Sirkulære Oslo - Norway's new innovation district is dedicated to sustainability and circular economy solutions 🌎 Nordics is a leading impact region in the world (new report coming in a few days, so stay tuned) 💘 And of course, Oslo is open to include even more startups, investors, techies and creatives. 📅 Next week, Oslo Business Region will host a side-event to the Nordic climate tech investment conference, The Drop in Malmø, together with our partners ArcTern Ventures, Sandwater and Ferd Impact Investing. 100 investors have signed up and the event is full, which shows that there is a growing interests in Norwegian climate technology startups and scaleups. 💌 To the investors in my network attending The Drop, reach out to my colleagues Tonje Ørnholt and Tom Miskin, if you're interested in connections in the Norwegian startup and tech ecosystem. It's been an intense yet amazing few days at the #EURESFO24. The venue welcomed over 600 attendees across 3 events: the Valencia Cities Climate Week event, Cities Mission Conference, and 450 attendees only from EURESFO! The event was co-organized by F6S Innovation's project REGILIENCE and hosted by the City of Valencia 🇪🇸. It brought together city representatives, policymakers, experts, and stakeholders from local institutions. F6S Innovation made a significant impact by presenting 22 Environmental #sustainability projects. These projects were dedicated to the event's three thematic streams, each addressing crucial aspects of #resilience, #sustainable development, and #recovery. We engaged in insightful conversations with stakeholders, regional representatives, and various projects focused on smart #sustainablematerials, #sustainablemobility, #energyefficiency, and more. 🙌 A special thanks to our amazing team for their hard work and dedication during the event!
