🔄 🏗 Two-Day Symposium on Circular Construction in the Hague Last week, the Gemeente Den Haag together with the METREX - The Network of European Metropolitan Regions and Areas, in cooperation with CircuLaw, organised a two-day event: "Rules and Space to Speed Up Circular Construction." The symposium brought together leading experts, policymakers, and professionals, to explore innovative legal and spatial strategies for advancing #circularity in the #construction sector: ❇ Menno Rubbens presented his architectural perspective on making circular buildings ready. ❇ Fanauw Hoppe and Eveline Bakker from CircuLaw discussed the latest EU law developments, encouraging cities to be proactive, ahead of regulations. ❇ @Michiel Bosch from Gemeente Leiden elaborated on their local ambitions and policies for circular construction ❇ Bart Bomas shared spatial strategies to accelerate circular construction ❇ Chandar van der Zande from the City of Amsterdam explained how to translate the EU Taxonomy into local circular construction policies.
