The Rotary Club Of Chestnut Hill presented a $2,000 check to the Eleanor C. Emlen elementary school science teacher, chris conallen (pictured). The much-needed funds will provide science-based field trips for 300 K to 5 students. The funding was made possible through donations to the Chestnut Hill Rotary Foundation and a matching grant from the Rotary District 7450 Gundaker Foundation. Emlen is one of nine Northwest Philadelphia organizations that received funding from Chestnut Hill Rotary. Emlen elementary is one of Chestnut Hill Rotary's educational partners. Members volunteer time, donate books, and provide financial assistants through grants.
