Sakhi for South Asian Survivors’ Post

Our 2024 Impact Report is here! This year marks an incredible milestone as Sakhi celebrates 35 years of Defining the Movement and working with South Asian and Indo-Caribbean survivors. In 2024, we worked with over 600 survivors—the most in our history—through holistic programs that foster safety, healing, and liberation. ✨ Counseling: 100% of participants achieved meaningful, self-identified goals within six months. ✨ Anti-Violence: 95% of participants gained safety from harm within six months. ✨ Housing: 90% secured stable housing and reported feeling empowered. ✨ Youth Empowerment: Participation surged by 94%, underscoring our commitment to supporting survivors as young as six. These milestones reflect the resilience of survivors and the transformative power of Sakhi’s work. Together, with the trust of survivors, our team's dedication, and our community's support, we are building a future defined by safety, healing, and liberation.
