For the last 2 seasons, the National Football League (NFL), Enthusiast Gaming and WePlay Studios have created original weekly programming for fans at the intersection of gaming and sports. Tuesday Night Gaming brought together top gaming creators -- SypherPK, FaZe Clan's Swagg, Fusilie, QTCinderella, Symfuhny, TypicalGamer and MMG -- and NFL Players together to compete in various games and challenges. According to Erin Comella Flynn, Tuesday Night Gaming is long-term investment from the league to connect with its next generation of fans where they are consuming content. But that's not all. The program is also giving NFL players (past and present) more opportunities to build their personal brands. With the NFL on-board, Tuesday Night Gaming has also has the cultural credibility to welcome hesitant brands into gaming. According to Alexander Guerrero, the program is emblematic of Enthusiast's strategy (and services) to help brands dip their toes into the gaming waters. As we get closer to the start of March Madness, the value of LUCI presets is magnified. Presets are one of the most powerful yet simple features of LUCI. During the March Madness Tourney, people at various locations in the casino will be requesting certain games. Maybe the game of the night. Maybe where they went to school. Maybe just the Cinderella vs. The Favorite. All of these games will be on channels that aren't all sports, all the time. And add in some occasional NBA and NHL games on non-sports channels. The next morning, when an executive might be walking the floor, most of these TV's will be irritatingly on Judge Judy, Charmed, local news, etc. Morning guests now have useless shows (No offense, Judge) with no sound on in their personally important background. By using LUCI and setting automated presets ahead of time, all TV's already know to go to a morning reset after the night games (such as ESPN, Fox Sports, etc.). Simple concept, yet not done at casinos as much as it should be. Then, take it to another level, and have automated or scheduled presets for drawings, jackpots, and reserved parties. Then, add ANOTHER layer by having the presets include audio and lighting. NOW, you are automating everything, and NOW you are elevating Customer Mojo at any time of day. While many industries are struggling to maintain their viewership, live sports continue to thrive. X Games is a prime example of this trend, with X Games Aspen experiencing a significant increase in viewership on both linear and digital. Linear viewership was up 8% YoY, while digital video views skyrocketed by 80% YoY. Even more impressive, viewership during the Sunday primetime broadcast was up 15% YoY, despite competing directly against NFL Championship weekend, which set records for ratings.
