Singapore Standards Council’s Post

Bolstering #productivity and #precision in cold chain logistics 🧊🚚 Last month, leading industry professionals gathered in Singapore to discuss the future of cold chain logistics and supply chain innovation at the ISO - International Organization for Standardization TC 315 Cold chain logistics Plenary and Working Group meetings, hosted by Singapore Standards Council and Nanyang Polytechnic-SDO. 🧠 Participants shared their perspectives on how standards can be leveraged to address global supply chain challenges, such as enhancing traceability and food safety management in cold chain logistics to ensure efficient and secure service delivery. 🇸🇬 Our standards partners spotlighted how SS 668 is helping local companies set up cold chain systems to ensure food safety and freshness. 🔎 Beyond the meetings, participants explored innovative cold room solutions to improve energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions at Danfoss Sustainability Technology Center, and also visited Jurong Cold Store, one of Singapore’s first facilities to advance from manual to automated warehousing systems. 🤝 A big thank you to all participants for the dynamic discussions and collaboration. And a special shout-out to NYP-SDO for the partnership in hosting our international standards community.
