🚀 Next week is going to be action-packed in Helsinki! I’m thrilled to attend Slush, one of my all-time favorite startup events! Slush is known for its intense focus on founders, investors, and making impactful connections, all aimed at driving the future and laying out the roadmap for the next big moves. What impresses me the most is that it’s one of the few places where you can hear directly from those who built companies like Deepl, Hugging Face, Twitch, or Flix—true startup all-stars with invaluable insights to share. Plus, some of the most renowned investors from both the US and Europe will be there. It’s amazing to see big fish and small fish swimming in the same pond, working together and learning from each other. I already feel the energy! How to solve complex challenges together That is the title of our #KiteLab Innovation Methodology that we presented today at Catalyst 2030 General Assembly. For the past year, at SustainableStartup&Co, we have been facilitating online and in-person #openinnovationlabs with Spanish public institutions such as Móstoles (along with MOSTOLES DESARROLLO), Diputación Provincial De Burgos, Diputacion Provincial de Ourense, Ayuntamiento De Rafelbunyol, Ayuntamiento de Almería Ciudad, or NetZeroCitiesEU's URBANEW's consortium. We have refined a methodology that has been tested over and over again, that has led to specific results such as the creation of implementation working groups, inter-institutional follow-up working sessions, and even a whole #entrepreneurshipaccelerator that is being implemented right now. We have been inspired by countless other methodologies and frameworks, and in that spirit, we have decided to condense our methodology in an #opensource #Toolkit that we make available to the wider community today under a #CreativeCommons Licence. Our mission is to transform the way #collaboration happens in every organisation and every ecosystem. We will be releasing further tools to help you in the journey of making the world a thriving and more sustainable place. 🌍Seeds of Bravery project is presented in the European innovation scene In a fruitful collaboration with Seeds of Bravery , representatives from Luxinnovation Senior Advisor Inna Perepelytsya and Project Manager Olena MALCHYK and team from INNOV8 Uliana Avtonomova 🇺🇦, Head of Funding Lab, joined the EIC Info & Networking Day on April 23 at Technoport Belval in Luxembourg. 🧩This incredible event gathered more than 100 participants and provided an opportunity to present the Seeds of Bravery project to representatives of the European Innovation Council (EIC), Europe's leading innovation initiative dedicated to finding and promoting disruptive technologies and transformative innovations. 🔹This event specifically targeted two crucial funding schemes: EIC Pathfinder and EIC Accelerator. To foster future project collaborations, B2B meetings were organised among participants interested in the EIC Pathfinder. 🚀This event was also a great opportunity for Innov8 team to glean insights from Luxinnovation GIE on how to effectively organise workshops focusing on EIC Pathfinder and Accelerator funding instruments. We specially thank Francisco Melo from Luxinnovation for organising this event. 🖇Funded by the European Union under the European Innovation Council (EIS), paving the way for the participation of Ukrainian start-ups in future EIC calls.
