Holiday Fun with a Purpose: Trivia About Coworkers! This holiday season, I’ve been playing a game that I plan to keep going well into the new year: Coworker Trivia! The idea is simple but impactful—challenging my team with trivia not just about holiday traditions but also about each other. It’s been a fun and engaging way to spark conversations, uncover shared interests, and get to know one another on a deeper level. In the fast-paced world of logistics (or any industry), it’s easy to focus solely on work, but building personal connections can make a huge difference in team dynamics and overall morale. As I challenge my team, I also challenge myself to learn more about the amazing individuals I work with every day. Let’s make 2025 the year we not only meet our goals but also strengthen our bonds. Some questions I asked? 1) Which two people are transplants to St. pete from the same area, but not from our corporate location? Answer: City was Charleston, SC 2) which month has the most birthday shared between office staff? Answer: April 3) how many people in the office have a twin? Answer: 3 Etc Have you ever tried something similar with your team? I'd love to hear your thoughts or suggestions for keeping this momentum going! #Teamwork #HolidaySeason #BuildingConnections #Leadership

Here at Black Cape, we work hard to help our clients solve hard problems. This past weekend, several of us helped solve a different kind of problem: running a Ragnar Events LLC Relay. 🏃♂️💼 120(ish) miles, 8 teammates, 2 days of pushing boundaries, cheering each other on, and overcoming every obstacle that came our way. It was more than just a race—it was a perfect metaphor for our workplace culture. At Black Cape, teamwork and collaboration aren't just buzzwords—they’re the foundation of everything we do. Ragnar emphasized things we already know and live every day: 🤝 The power of trust: Just like in the race, we rely on each other to deliver, whether it's handing off the baton or wrapping up a project. 🧠 Resilience: When the hours got long and the miles tougher, we dug deep, just like when challenges arise at work. We push through, together. 🎉 Celebrating each other: Every finish line—big or small—is a reason to celebrate. Just like we do at work, we lifted each other up, keeping energy high with positive reinforcement and support. Being part of this corporate Ragnar team reminded me why I love working here—success is a team effort, and together, we consistently go the distance. Oh, and did I mention we took third place in our division? That was the icing on the cake. We've already signed up not one but two teams for next year's race! Yet another reason why I love what I do, and the support we consistently receive from our Black Cape leaders, Al Di Leonardo, Abe Usher, Brian Poe, among many others. #RagnarRelay #Teamwork #CorporateCulture #WorkplaceWellness #Collaboration #Endurance #BlackCape

Celebrating your wins is imperative to a healthy workplace. If you don't take time to celebrate, going the extra mile doesn't mean as much to your team. How are you celebrating wins on your team?

⭐ March’s Olly Olly All Stars ⭐ "A huge congratulations to Shannon K. and Julian V. both. You truly embody Olly Olly’s values every day! What do their managers say about them? “Shannon is always smiling. She has a great attitude and comes in every day fired up to work. She is always willing to help others out. She is one of the hardest workers in the office, often staying up late calling Hawaii and Alaska at night. Shannon is one of the most curious people in the office. If she runs into a new or weird situation, she will look toward more experienced rep or manager. She is skilled herself, but she is always curious how other people would handle things so she can constantly grow. Shannon is known for showing up for her teammates, whether it is help with a demo, or hanging out on a Saturday afternoon, you can count on Shannon.” “Julian consistently embodies our company values and excels in his role, but he's recently gone above and beyond for our entire team. He exemplifies initiative by taking ownership of improving processes. He identified a bottleneck in our new build writing efficiency and, without prompting, dedicated the past three months to developing a new system. Julian's dedication extends beyond just his own work. He readily helps his colleagues, ensuring a positive and supportive team environment. This willingness to share his knowledge and expertise contributes significantly to the overall success of the department.” #leadwithhumilityandcuriosity #showupforoneanother #teamwork

Leadership isn’t about being the loudest voice in the room – unless it’s Christmas party season, of course, and that’s when the “who can belt out the best Christmas carol” competition begins! At Truck and Trailer Equipment, part of the Motus Vehicle Solutions division, we know that no one has all the answers (and if they do, they’re probably Santa), which is why we surround ourselves with a team that’s full of fresh ideas and solutions. The best businesses don’t run on just one person’s expertise – they’re built on teamwork, a bit of Christmas magic, and maybe the odd mince pie. I’m proud to lead a team at Truck and Trailer Equipment that’s not only dedicated to our mission but is constantly thinking of ways to improve – for our clients and each other. We’ve created a culture where collaboration is key, and everyone has the chance to thrive (and maybe steal a chocolate or two from the office tin). It’s what makes working here so rewarding and fun, especially when you know you’re surrounded by people who’ve got your back. It’s been an exciting year at Truck and Trailer Equipment, and I couldn’t be more proud of the team we’ve got. We’re all in it together, striving for success and making things happen, whether it’s the last-minute orders before Christmas or celebrating another fantastic year together. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Here’s to even more success, laughter, and teamwork in the year ahead. #Leadership #Teamwork #ChristmasCheer #TTE #BusinessSuccess #Culture #Opportunity #MerryChristmas

Think success is 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 about hard work? 🤔 (It’s also about how you celebrate it) 🥳💃🥂 We know that our recent achievements and milestones at Cleancorp are the direct result of team's dedication and relentless effort. So, what did we do? We stepped away from our desks and came together for a beautiful work lunch at Sails on Lavender Bay. But it felt like anything but ‘work’. Here's the thing: When your workplace genuinely feels like a family, well... work doesn't feel like "work". We know the word 'family' gets thrown around a lot in corporate settings. And let’s be honest… 'family' is often used to label team unity without actually putting in the work to create real connections. But when you celebrate each other, share stories, and build stronger connections, It doesn’t feel like a work event – it feels like a gathering of friends. So, here’s what last Friday reminded us of: 👉 That we win together as a team. 👉 We absolutely own it, day in and day out, when it comes to work 👉 Our leadership is collaborative, rather than from the top down We cherish these opportunities to come together to not only highlight, but most of all, celebrate the people we "win together" with.

Your people are your biggest asset, and it's critical you treat them that way. Last night, we celebrated an incredible year with our amazing Chapter 2 team at our Christmas party—and it was a reminder of just how important it is to value, support, and celebrate the people who make everything possible. If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that the people around you are what make or break a business. At Chapter 2, we’re constantly striving to bring in the right people—those who see the bigger picture, share our values, and want to be part of something meaningful. Building a great business isn’t just about revenue or growth; it’s about creating a space where people feel they belong, thrive, and can bring their best selves. Watching our team grow, adapt, and support each other has been the most rewarding part of this journey. Last night wasn’t just about celebrating the successes of the year but about honouring the incredible individuals who’ve made it all possible. How do you build a people-first culture in your work?

Messy hair, don’t care – it’s just another day on-site! 😅✨ Between running from one meeting to another, diving into project updates, and handling the unexpected, my time on-site at Zones, LLC has been nothing short of hectic – but in the best way possible! Some days, it’s all about rocking that messy hair and powering through because the work we’re doing is what really matters. There’s something energizing about being in the thick of things, collaborating face-to-face, and seeing the direct impact of the work we’re doing. The biggest lesson? It’s not about how perfect you look, it’s about showing up, staying focused, and being adaptable. 💡💪 Here’s to all my fellow on-site warriors – keep rocking it, messy hair and all! #OnSiteLife #Zones #Leadership #Adaptability #MessyHairDontCare #WorkplaceVibes #Teamwork
