Gousto is hiring for a Head of Software Engineering to lead two key Tribes looking after our:
- eCommerce platform, including productising as a spinoff SaaS business
- Factory platform
These Tribes are essential to scaling the Gousto proposition in line with our ambition in the years to come.

💥 Blinkit's Big Talent Experiment: Where Did It Go Wrong? 💥
Blinkit made headlines with their bold move to have a zero notice period. They wanted to be seen as a super employee-friendly company, giving everyone lots of freedom and flexibility.
But things didn't go as planned.
Competitors like Zepto and Swiggy saw an opportunity and began poaching Blinkit's top talent. Blinkit noticed a 30% increase in people leaving. The rapid delivery market, growing by 25% annually, made this problem even bigger.
To fix this, Blinkit had to change their approach.
They introduced a two-month notice period to keep their team stable. This new rule helps protect their staff and the company. It was a shift from their original plan but necessary to maintain their workforce.
Lessons Learned:
- Being too flexible without protection can backfire.
- Quick changes in strategy are crucial in a competitive market.
- Sometimes, branding efforts need to adapt to new realities.
Starbucks' stock(SBUX) jumped 23.4% in the morning session after the company announced that CEO and Director Laxman Narasimhan was stepping down effective immediately.
Boycotting works, but it also shows how established stocks can and will bounce back from controversy.
Take Meta, for example.
It has climbed 500% to record highs since Zuckerberg was in court in 2022 over the mishandling of data.
Don't be surprised if SBUX follows suit, particularly if it breaks through $100.
There are far better stocks in play right now, so I won't be considering this one anytime soon, particularly with the boycott in play.

At Product Space, I recently delved into enhancing user experiences on Myntra, a remarkable platform. Focusing on Tier 2 & 3 cities, I targeted challenges like delayed deliveries and catering to budget-conscious shoppers, emphasizing cash-on-delivery availability.
My approach:
1️⃣ Empathize with users to uncover pain points.😔
2️⃣ Develop solutions for an improved experience. 👜
3️⃣ Establish clear success metrics, balancing user satisfaction and revenue – the ultimate goal! 🎯

@honasa_india, the parent of D2C brand Mamaearth, has roped in Lokesh Chhaparwal as senior vice president - technology and engineering
In his new role, Chhaparwal will be responsible for the company's technological strategy focussed on integrating advanced tech solutions to support its growing consumer base.
Before joining Honasa, Chhaparwal was AVP, head of engineering at ecommerce major Snapdeal. He has served Snapdeal for more than 13 years after joining the company in 2011.
At Honasa, he will handle the technological aspects, including digital platforms development, optimising supply chain processes through SAP systems, and advancing marketing technologies for personalized consumer experiences, it added.
